Say what you want about soft Arsenal teams but, Wenger has had some of the best defenders to play in the Premier League over the years.
Ryan may well get his chance under him. You never know.

He would be my first choice, by a mile. I cant stand the man, but I don't mind that if he leads us to success. I don't have to like the manager. He knows the English game (top flight) inside out and I think he would introduce something in the team we haven't had for some time

Vicente del Bosque has quit the Spanish job.
There's your man right there....won the lot and a great tactician.

No he is French which not quite the same. Wenger is French and a cunt. However, not all cunts are French, and not all French are cunts. Wenger just so happens to hold both titles

Wenger would be perfect for England. He's had years of bottle jobs with Arsenal so would fit right in with our lot.

The past few England managers havent had a plan A so a guy with a winning plan A alone is better than no plan. I'd love to see his first training session when he realises Milner, Henderson and the like can't pass to a teammate. His 'Plan A' wouldn't work for England, that's my point.

Don't want him in the England job, mostly because if he left Arsenal they might actually get a decent manager in and start winning things - I'd hate that.

I agree using the players owl face picked and the way they were asked too play no one would win but a good coach with no agenda picking players on form for a set plan ie not taking wilshite or shitling and using drinkwater and a true winger like townsend could make the difference with a decent group of players. However as long as the same group of under performers are relied upon and that includes the senior FA chiefs England management team and players we will continue to flop time and time again. The adage form is temporary and class is permanent doesnt apply to England players as class is not available so it seems. Messi cant drag Argentina to any tournament wins so how we expect Rooney to do it i despair.
