PS I've just seen his interview on Sky and he hasn't technically signed. Needs to do the medical which he seemed a bit mithered about as he mentioned it about 3 times.

Will probably still be good enough for Scotland.

To be honest I've always been amazed at how long his career has gone on at such a high level, he's never been anything special. With his injury record too...

Clint Hill seems to have been around for years and years. Fair play to him for keeping on going at a good level. Didn't we swap deal him with Leon Cort? & Cort seems long time gone in footy terms.

To be honest I've always been amazed at how long his career has gone on at such a high level, he's never been anything special. With his injury record too... Because he's a decent professional that knows his limits and does what he needs to do. An excellent defender who knows he hasn't got much else so concentrates on his strengths and that's allowed him to spend most of his career in the top 2 divisions.

Hopefully proper defenders are a bit like flares. I look forward to when they're all the rage again.

He's going to be doing some coaching at Rangers apparently. I like Clint - I think he'll probably make a decent coach.
