I've been seriously chuffed with the refs during these championships.
Seen lots of 'soft fouls' not given which would have been awarded in the Prem.
Been interesting to see how the players are already changing their behaviour as a result. Muller as an example was about to roll around a couple of times yesterday but suddenly flew to his feet when the realisation set in that he wouldn't get the foul.
Utterly refreshing.

I thought Clattenburg did well. Allowed a bit of stuff and was talking to the players all through.

I think there has been some blatant diving which have been given as fouls or when spotted not given a yellow card, like the Wales player yesterday near to the end, just collapsing his legs when in close proximity of Smalling, also some really soft fouls given when a player jumps to head a ball within 100 yards of the keeper or slighty touches a centre half, some small fussy stuff from European referees still IMO, but overall they have got the main decisions right, apart from that push on an Alli yesterday in the first half when it should have been a penalty

They've been good. All the talk has been about the football and NOT the refereeing decisions - exactly how it should be.

Notable lack of cards.

The only real issue I've seen is the refs favouring the 'bigger' team on decisions (the first game against France as a perfect example) . Though in general they have been good, the ref/linesman who spotted that vardy wasn't offside made a fantastic decision especially in 'real-time'. Don't think many would have argued if it was given offside (until the replays that is).

I've only really noticed one ref for being totally shite, I think he was French but can't be sure. Other than that, they've been refreshingly good.

The reason why the refereeing has been good is that Pierluigi Collina is the referees coach for the tournament.

Excellent reffing by Clatto to give the penno. Given the circumstances it took some balls too.

I thought Clattenburg did well. Allowed a bit of stuff and was talking to the players all through. Agree that Clattenburg handled the situation yesterday very well. However, he talks way too much. Every game, 5-7 minutes of gametime are spent with him lecturing the players.

Collina inspired an entire generation of prematurely bald people not to give up on their football refereeing dreams.
The downside to that is Anthony Taylor.

Danny Rose is one of the worst diving cunts I've seen at these Euros but he went unpunished and hardly spoke about. Not giving a yellow for blatant diving is the only niggle I have with the reffing of the matches so far. Gouranga.

Surprised about this
I think its a good tournament and was surprised some folk did not think so
But For me -the match officials should be coming down on the :
cheating - diving and especially feigning injury and, trying to get fellow pros booked / sent off
like - a Tonne of fucking bricks - and they STILL don't
Its deemed acceptable to the 'Eurocrats' who run the game and this competiton
- ITS NOT TO ME - ITS FUCKING CHEATING
Therefore
The games as played in this competition, remain riddled and rotten with it and, until they adopt a 'zero tolerance' approach to it.
Until they do
Like as not, such tournaments will be won by the team comprising, not only the best football players but also,
the best cheats
The best example is PEPE of Portugal - champions league winners medal around his neck
I FIND THAT PARTICULARLY DISGUSTING
after his antics in the recent champions league final, that particular scumbag should've been BANNED from this tournament
from the very outset
as it stands - for that 'worst of the worst' brazen cheating CUNT - its 'business as usual'
me if I were a ref
ID BE GUNNING FOR THAT PARTICULAR BASTARD !

Shane Long has been battered all first half and the ref has given several riduculous decisions for the Belgians. This one is shite.

Instructed not to give anything against the hosts. Quite obviously true after watching tonights game. I don't think that was a penalty. He was never getting to the ball anyway so it'd have been a little harsh. Saw plenty of free kicks awarded to Switzerland in that game. Shaq's wasn't given because of his theatrics.

At least 6 Swiss players had the shirts ripped from their backs and not one French player was even spoken to let alone carded! And that doesn't include the shirt pull by Sagna which was a nailed on penno.

when you see other penalties given in this tournment for minor shirt pulls, then look at that France v swiss match, conspiracy theories will start Nailed on penalty

Exactly how 5 officials failed to see any of the shirt ripping / pulling occurring is beyond strange. I include the 2 numpties running up and down the goal line even though I'm not sure what their job actually is.
Apart from striking a few poses.
