Obviously in the past we referred to our home as a nickname,The Victoria Ground was called "The Vic", The Britannia Stadium was "The Brit", so what do we call it now..."The Bet"

I'll probably carry on calling it the Brit. Which is why I wish they had renamed it the "Bet365 Britannia"

It'll always be 'The Brit' to me.
I won't be able to call it anything else.

Same as I've always called it ... 'the ground'.
I've never said "what time are you going down the Brit" but "what time are you going the ground" etc.

Personally I don't think I ever called it 'the Brit' in 17 years anyway.
It was always 'the ground', 'up Stoke', 'the match', 'down Stoke' (for the Vic) etc.

I like "down Stoke". And "up the arse"! Never ever been to the Arse, and I'm certainly not about to start going there any time soon. Hope that clears things up. It'll still be 'The Brit' in my aged head for a while yet.

It'll be 'the ground' and occasionally 'the Brit'.
I don't personally (and it's only my feelings) like any of the new names it's likely to be or new versions from this thread.

No point giving it a new pet name, in a few years it will be "The maxi pad durex bet365 dorito bowl"

Just realised that the 365 in "BET 365" is like 365 days, which is a year innit.
So like you can bet 365 days a year.
Pretty clever that.
