I'm going to Falkirk for a short stay at the end of the month.
Would it be safe to wear my Stoke Shirt as it is only 3 miles from Stenhousemuir?

I'm not sure it's entirely safe going to Falkirk, Stoke shirt or not.
They're Scotch up there you know.

One of my mates went to Stirling (about 6 or 7 miles away) to visit family and happened to be wearing his Stoke shirt one day. He was jumped by 5 or 6 Stenhousemuir who got wind of him being there.
Just be careful.

Not sure why you'd take the risk mate. Falkirk has it's charms (ie that fucking great water wheel) but leave the shirt at home.

Sorry for being thick and young but whats the deal with stenhousmuir and stoke hatred then? Best that you don't know. After what happened on the 30th anniversary I doubt if anyone will tell you. One of the last things my dad said to me when we were reminiscing about it in his later years was "It could have been worse - how bad would it have been if South Yorkshire Police had been involved?" Anyway, I've already said too much - least said soonest mended.

They will be playing Kilmranock in the play offs soon, there maybe an open top bus parade and 10,000 people out on the streets

You disgraceful, deplorable spunk-puddle of a human being.
How can you just casually come out with that?
The screams, my god the screams.

Having a laugh with the Shire lads used to be fun. Decent lot and a guided tour around Firs Park. Unfortunately I think they groundshare with THEM now. So best avoided really.

I stopped off in Falkirk last year on my way to Ardymuchachan. I had a Stoke sticker in my back window. When I got back to my car - hey presto - no back window!
Be very very careful, they are loco up there.
Even though they were to blame for the events of that fateful day, they still feel like it was our fault! Scum!

They took the European Hooligans mantra of stealing flags from the unfortunate that day, and taunted their foes by showing them off in the home end upside down as a mark of a triumphant glory.

Shouldn't the 'man at the top' who orchestrated this terrible event be named and bought to justice under the Freedom of Information legislation?
Just how long can his name be kept secret ?
