Sound then, we'll have Kouyate. He's absolutely massive! The size of their team compared to ours was frightening and I think in the first half it played a massive part in them dominating. We then started winning the 50-50's and believed.

Eddie Howe has hit out at West Ham for making a double bid for Callum Wilson and Matt Ritchie on the eve of their 3-1 defeat at Manchester United .
Bournemouth dismissed the offer and Howe was annoyed West Ham could not wait 24 hours until the Cherries had finished their campaign.
"We had a bid yesterday evening and the disappointment from our perspective is why the bid came in the day before our last game of the season when you have the whole summer to bid for players," said the Bournemouth boss.
"The two players were in our squad and due to play in this game with a lot of speculation about their future. Bizarre.
"The bid was rejected and we don't need to sell. We want to improve our squad, not weaken it. Our biggest challenge is to keep ends the players we already have. Yes, it was West Ham and no it wasn't £25million."

West Ham have had a record £31million bid for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette rejected.
The 24-year-old France international, who scored 23 goals this season as his club finished second behind Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1, is one of several names on the Hammers' shopping list as they try to land a high-class frontman for next season's move to the Olympic Stadium.
They also remain keen on Liverpool's Christian Benteke , Marseille star Michy Batshuayi and fit-again Bournemouth frontman Callum Wilson.
Talks have been held with all three of those clubs.

May as well title the thread West Hams lucky dip. I admire there bottle but I think it could cost them in fees as they're being too public with deals so may look desperate. I'm not surprised Howes unhappy very unsettling on his players.

Manchester City have signed Germany midfielder Ilkay Gundogan from Borussia Dortmund on a four-year deal. I can see Delph coming here this summer after this. Any takers? Obviously moving to City and barely playing hasn't helped his career but at Villa he was some player.

A bit injury prone but that seems to be the pattern when UK based players join Man City No doubt his wages will be crazy and there is the Home Grown quota that they might need to keep him

With the home grown quota it could go one of two ways really, they have a very good academy system and have some very good young players coming through who could fill the void.
Delph would be an excellent signing for a club like us but is he what we need? I think he just about is but having him as just a defensive midfielder isn't really using him to his full potential.

He's a left sided box to boxer, which we've just signed one for 18M.

I thought he was more defensive minded? But it has been so long since I have seen him play more than a cameo my memory maybe playing tricks? Now if Imbula could sort his defensive side out then we could have one stay back and one push forward rotation rather than one just standing for 90mins on the defenders toes

He's very mobile. Indeed!

And as Suffolk says if Imbula could be trusted at defensively the combination of the two could be really quite something.
