Just a suggestion for Mark and the team.....how about locking the lads in a room for a few hours to watch a selection of bona fide heroes in action. Not intended to be a slight towards Hughes and the team but I genuinely think all professional footballers can take a lot from Invictus.
Hopefully a few are watching anyway but I can think of no better way for our team to bond and refocus. Even better tweet a picture of the group watching and supporting.
Irrespective of your politics and your opinion on the different conflicts that the competitors were injured in, there's surely no better example of what people can achieve when they have virtually everything taken from them. To become a professional footballer takes dedication, talent and a bit of luck. To become a competitor in Invictus you go to hell and back and then put yourself through hell again in order to represent your country.
Inspirational.
PS I appreciate its not strictly football but hopefully admin can leave this on the main message board, cheers.

Bit disappointed with this. I opened it up thinking it would be about the aftershave

Just seen BBC are showing half a hour a day, absolute joke considering it was harry who invented it. Should be shown more on mainstream TV and the athletes journeys through life!

amputate a few players' limbs that should inspire them. Many of our team are one footed anyway. Maybe prosthetics with a good spin action for defenders so they can turn quicker.

Makes you realise when you see these people that maybe ours isn't a bad lot after all.
