At the moment the stats are somewhat worrying. Man City had 5 attempts on goal & scored 4 goals (I have no clue what the 5th attempt was, probably just a stray shot from 25 yards or something), the only chance Sunderland had was the penalty & they scored, Palace had 4 attempts on goal & they scored 2 (one of the other 2 attempts being the shot that struck Imbula & I can't recall the 4th), Liverpool had the 5 attempts on goal & scored 4.
All signs point to the keeper not doing his job. It's virtually impossible to restrict the opposition to have no attempts on goal if you're playing in the premier league. It seems like every chance the opposition team gets they score from it. It's not about Butland being injured, any premier league proven keeper would've saved the 3 against Liverpool & the freekick against Palace today. You can't expect to win a game if your keeper can't make a single decent save in the entire 90 mins. It's just impossible.

I'm sorry but if you are trying to blame the rubbish that we have watched recently on a young keeper then you are bang out of order , he has made some errors but that is not the source of our problems we have too many lazy overpaid players who simply don't want to work . If you want to get angry start with the alpine jessie , just about the worst value for money player i have seen at Stoke and i started going in 1968

I've been giving the whole squad, including our captain & the manager a lot of stick if you bothered to read any of my other posts. But Haggaurd is at fault for the shower shite, which has been our last few games, as much as anyone, possibly more.

The free kick sure. Should've done better. In an ideal world we wouldn't have given one away so cheaply but hey ho.
The key theme with the other goals against Man City and today is that they were point blank. The average goal was probably 8 yards out. The defence has let him down and it's a minor miracle if he's saving from that close.

Assuming that a couple is 2:
Liverpool had 6 shots on target - scored 4. Couple didn't go in. Sunderland had 5 shots on target - scored 1. Therefore a couple of a couple of shots didn't go in (2 couples) As you alluded to Palace had 4 on target - scored 2. A couple didn't go in.
