MLS is a league which is going to just continue growing, the US is a huge market, it's great that Stoke may gain some new support from this, also, if one or two academy boys get the chance to go and play out there, then that's great too. If we can get a loan for Larin or someone else in the off season, then that's great also. Nothing more to be said. I can't see how this is not a good deal for Stoke (and Orlando for that matter). Few European sides are interested in the MLS/USLwith regard to affiliations or even buying clubs. Arsenal, Tottenham, MCFC, Rayo Vallecano to name a few.

Would be in no way surprised to see Crouch turn up there I could see Crouchy at New York Cosmos in NASL as opposed to MLS. Not sure the end to end stuff in MLS would suit him.

I think that is the worse opening paragraph that I've read. Ever. The level of management bull shit speak is painful.

Well, yeah ... but does it actually mean anything? Basically it means the homogenization of strategic blue sky thinking, harmonious to focused business goals, whilst incorporating best practice to maximise all revenue streams. In other words fleece the fuckers!! God - I thought everyone knew that !!!

After every 'formal affiliation' comes the conscious uncoupling.

PS that included spending money !

I'll be attending and I was lucky enough to go the one in 2012 too. They are right, the area around it resembles Grove Street from GTA

Saw Orlando lose to the Sounders 4-0 last season. Most enjoyable! That said, I have a lot of time for Phil Rawlins, and hope OCFC have a great season second time around. The scary thing about football here (in North America) is the number of children playing the game now. It has been their number one participation sport for over two decades. At some point - and I hate to say it - the Yanks will be very, very good at this game.
USA vs China World Cup Final in 2030?!

Florida is cheaper in the Summer because it's hotter than hell, humid and rains about 4 PM every day, especially in the central parts of the state. The coastal area are a bit cooler and there should be a bit of breeze. Hurricane season starts in June. Not intending to be negative, just letting people know what they are getting into. I used to live in Gainesville.

I watched the first half of Orlando v Montreal at the weekend (couldn't bare to watch the second) - my God were they awful! Brek Shea at left back is truly laughable. It was just kick 'n' rush, hump it up for Larin to chase. If it wasn't for the potloads of cash, I am sure Kaka would be crying having to play with that lot. With the Brazilian majority ownership, they seem to have moved to recruiting more Central/South American, rather than British, players (as when in lower league), but with no noticeable increase in quality. If players move between us and them, I can see most only going one way. Larin may be worth a look in their winter break - but that's it on that evidence.

As per the other two recent trips to the USA , cost of transatlantic flights in July / August , rather than the weather likely to be the deciding factor for most considering travelling specifically for the footie..On the plus side previous games have seen a decent turnout by USA based fans..and the smaller ground should give USA based supporters a better chance to get closer to their team..if that's what rocks your boat

The Titan Soccer Complex, which is home to the college’s nationally ranked men’s and women’s soccer teams, will seat 3,500 fans for OCB’s matches.
