Key West is fantastic, though I'm not sure how it is in the Summer.. Have a blast! IWe usually head down at least twice a year, great at anytime. It's a blast in summer, but the heat is intense. There is six of us heading down for a birthday tour, driving down the gulf coast from Orlando so a couple of nights in Siesta Key, then down to Key Largo for a couple of nights and ending up in Key West. Wish I had know about this a few weeks ago, the Mrs won't be happy with me heading back up to Orlando mid-trip Last time I was there it was a bit wet and choppy seas, the edge of a hurricane was passing through, is sloppy joes and captain tonys still going?

Lads I can tell you it will be @ 95% with high humidity and a shower rolling through @ 3:00 pm. Just in time to make the pitch a sweaty cauldron by kickoff. I am going to try and reserve is a pub IVO the new stadium, the microbrewery should be open by then. I'll get more details as we approach the match but plan for the Oatcake party to kick off @ 3:00 pm on the 27th. I'll check if we can get Lakeland, Bojan-Mackey, Slother, and Dutch Stokie to come over as guest speakers and to model proper Stoke City punter behavior. Don't think I'll have to pass the hat around but if I do I'll let you know.

Yes mate, both still going strong. Sloppy Joe's is a tourist trap, but worth a visit for anyone who hasn't been. Prefer some of the local dive bars once you get off Duval, but there is definately no shortage of places to prop up the bar Ive been down there in a few storms and it can get crazy. I've seen the whole of Duval Street flooded with three feet of water, and then a few hours later it's totally drained and everything is back up and running.

Definitely sounds like we'll be loaning out some youngsters there.
Shenton perhaps? Could pick up a few tips and tricks from Kaka!

Learn some shape and moving the ball through the pitch quickly from Jnr. I'd rather hope they didn't go to the B side!

Yep, and it's all a new experience. Let's face it, most of the academy boys will never play for Stoke so if this gives them the opportunity to have a career in football, MLS or USL, I'm all for it

They have to be good enough first, Waring went to Oxford and sat on the bench all year, look what happened to Alabi... maybe a less established league is a better chance to grow. Plus Orlando would have an actual interest in playing them

I haven't said it is, I've been advocating us sending players over to the States since the Austin Aztex days! But he will have learned a fuck load from it. Experiencing a promotion winning season, how to cope with coming back from injury and how to deal with good competition for places. It's been a cracking loan for him. I've heard Orlando need a decent left back......

It's just an extra chance to get some more players out on loan, probably over the summer which is when they can't get a loan here anyway.

Chesterfield and Bayern have no greater pleasure on earth than slating MLS and Orlando. Don't let them get to you. They never miss an opportunity to stick their boot in and have a go at US Nogger. If it keeps them warm at night I guess we are none the worse for it . Although it has all become a bit too predictable lately. The one negative to this affiliation is that muckers like these keep trolling the same bait over and over ....

A few goalies then I bet you cant name 11 outfield players who have made it big. Big means averaged over 30 matches a season for a prem team.

Excellent to see Molino over his knee injury and proving himself on the bigger stage!

Antidore is a donkey. Cameron can't defend. Donovan was ok. Dempsey was excellent. My favourite Yank remains Brian Mcbride, quality centre forward.

MLS is a league which is going to just continue growing, the US is a huge market, it's great that Stoke may gain some new support from this, also, if one or two academy boys get the chance to go and play out there, then that's great too. If we can get a loan for Larin or someone else in the off season, then that's great also. Nothing more to be said.
