Never heard of him, if Stoke see him as a good player who will improve the squad then that should be good enough, however I'm struggling to see the benefit if we truelly are keeping hold of crouch and Walters. Especially when we aren't prepared to give players like Diouf and Joselu enough consecutive chances.

Don't see many Israeli footballers about do you, Benayoun is the obvious one but I can't honestly think of another. Tal Ben Haim, although the term "footballer" is very loosely used! Avi Cohen at Liverpool in the '70s too.

Another link to an unknown foreign player who would cost around 3-6 million and automatically receive a high wage. It irritates me all premier league teams linked to these players of course once in a while you get top quality in this market mahrez, kante etc. But around 90% are bang average there's no way you can tell me there aren't British players of equal ability in the championship and league 1 who just aren't being given a chance in the premier league. Suppose the problem lies with clubs demanding ridiculous fees for lower league untried players but something needs happen to improve this and English football
