I think its brilliant that Leicester have won it and although I should find it incredible see negative posts about it I dont. Its what this forum has been like for years and years. Thing is...for those gloating that they'l go down in a few years and all that crap....like they give a toss!!! Theyve won the fucking league!!!!!! The greatest football achievement of all time....bar non for a club that size. That will NEVER be taken away from them .Some just cant handle that. Yes it could have been us...but it isnt. I could understand the hate if the Vale had won it. Christ that would be unbearable. Id still have to admit it was an outstanding achievement though....as much as it would kill me to say it. Seriously I still think about THAT Fa Cup Final as something I thought Id never see....before that reaching the Premier League...to win it...fucking hell theyve ripped up the rule book forever. EVERY team should believe it could be them now and this "big four" bollocks has been destroyed in the greatest ever season. As for us. Weve been crippled with injuries but you know what...weve still had some awesome moments this season. Im happy for footy and happy where we are. Most of all Im happy Im not some of you Miserable Merv's!!!

Interesting to see if there's a clamour to copy their style. Very old school defenders, no premium at all put on possession, keeper kicking it long every time, couple of three-lunged dogs of war in the midfield, first thought looking to play in Vardy in the channels and one magician with a bit of freedom It does all sound like a modified Pulis approach with some high quality ingredients That is a very nice summary "TP Max" you could call it ! Except that it actually involves attacking and scoring goals, and sticking with their best teams rather than shitting themselves and playing defensive midfielders or strikers on the wing away from home.

It is one in the neck for those clamouring for ball playing centre halves. The "John Stones" era we appear to be entering. Actual defensive qualities seem to be of secondary concern to some. It's nice to see the best team this season has succeeded with 2 old fashioned centre halves in the team. No nonsense, back to basics.

I think its more a question of can the big teams adjust ?
I think the smaller teams will look at what Leicester have achieved and use that and the money to try and improve .
The way forward seems to be more based on strong hard working athletic teams with talent in them rather than star turns or amount of possession .
Other second level teams Spurs Southampton are all moving down a similar path wheras West Ham have got a nice mix of styles and will get better
This may not be so easy or clubs with players on huge money with big egos .
I expect Liverpool to improve a fair bit and possibly United because of the youth they have but maybe Chelsea Arsenal and Citeh may not find it so easy to move players out .
Its not just here that its begining to change Athletico Madrid are able to compete with Real and Barca by having a strong team despite not having the superstars .
I'm not sure quite where it leaves us MH seems to believe in talented individuals and possession which I dont think will work as well , so will be interesting to see the type of player he signs in the summer

Big Sam made a great comment about this recently , it seems that its ok in some circles for a defender not to be able to defend well these days as long as they can pass the ball its utter horse shit . The great ones do both of course but the priority has to be defend well and love stopping people scoring

We had idiots on here moaning their bollocks off last summer slaughtering the club and squealing pathetically because we hadn't signed any big money players despite trying to reason with them that it's all about the right players and not how much they cost Well for those people Leicester's entire team cost £30m See you all in the summer for more of the same bollocks 30 million on players. Check. 1 million on illegal steroids. Check. Winning the title by spending fuck all. Check. continually throwing around dangerous accusations with literally NOTHING to back it up. Check you're starting to get a bit embarrassing with this obsession now mate

Why don't you supply the proof that they've been using performance enhancing drugs? Either that or give it a rest. Nah, you're right. Let's just shut up and blindly jump into the Leicester love in. so you think it makes you look better to blindly jump into the factless bullshit then?

Brilliant that Leicester have won the league. As someone who expected that they would eventually fall away as the season progressed I am happy to be proved wrong. Can Stoke or other mid table teams do what Leicester have done. Yes they can it depends on many things but it can be done. Leicester and Watford have used www.cryoaction.com will other teams follow suite.

Saw Ian Porterfields Wembley goal the other day....one of the FA Cups greatest upsets and a real example of good conquering evil. BUT if it happened now everyone would hate it and call Bob Stokoe a raincoat wearing twat or something. Somewhere something changed and that, sadly is the reality of some people's lives.

Yes but! Look at the attributes they possess and ask yourself the extent to which we match them.
Firstly a team o f people who are self motivated and prepared to work extremely hard for the common cause. Secondly few if any exaggerated egos. The best levels of fitness and thus constant team selection A system of playing that exactly matches the players available. Not asking players to play in positions for which they are not suited A manager that knows how to enable each player to be a star in a winning team! One approach does not fit all! Effective management of expectations...... Setting short term achievable targets.
When things are going wrong keep heads up and isolate the disappointment
Finally the way Spurs behaved last night finally persuaded me that the title was going in the right direction. Fighting for success is one thing but petulance as demonstrated by some of the offences perpetrated by the spurs players was unacceptable.

It will happen again ,a west ham saints even us could win it in near future and why ??? Why did man city sack pellegrini because they want European cups ,not too fussed about winning English league anymore....they all rest players in league matches to protect them for champions league ..that is all the chelski man city man u and Arsenal really want ...euro glory... and so do most of their players .....Leicester barring a couple had players who have played and lived the majority of there careers in English football and know what it would mean to win a league ...and congrats to them

In my opinion, they have been superb in centre mid. It could be a blue print for Hodgson at the Euros - he's not averse to knocking it long quickly - but I just don't think England can defend as well as Leicester City.

Leicester and Watford have used www.cryoaction.com will other teams follow suite. Thanks for this, very interesting read and it appears that we have been using this treatment for a few years now (first mentioned in the Sentinel in 2013 SJW using it): www.cryoaction.com/cryotherapy-football/We have been crippled by injury this season (3 times the level of injuries that Leicester have had) so I can only hope that we will have a better rub of the green next season. Got to say I am really gutted about Affelay, this and seeing Butland stretchered off have been real low points of the season for me. Hope we can get it together next season and above LMH stays with us! UTP!!!

I think scouting has never been so important. With the money being thrown around the prem could soon become even more competitive. If i have taken anything away from leicester's season, it is that it is possible for stoke to win the league. I can honestly look at our team now and think we are not far away either. We have some fantastic players at our club, some still bedding in, some not fit yet, some injured. With a few quality additions we are very close. We will need a bit of luck along the way but next season it could be us. It is a joint effort, if the fans believe and the players believe then why not us.

If your a true football fan then it's brilliant for the prem league , we've had the same teams win it every year so for them to do it is brilliant , what are there odds to win the champions league now there's a fairytale if they pull that one off

The powers that be,have fucked up somewhere along the line this season, they won't let it happen again. Who was it that said a while back,Teams like the Shit finishing in the top 4 is good for our game? By the way,he didn't call them the Shit though. The Premier League, at the moment, seem to be lapping up the publicity. Maybe they now realise that having a more open competition is good for their 'product' and means more $$$$$$$$

They could earn between 30-50 million for winning the league and up to 50 million for entering the champions league which would put them in the top 20 richest clubs in the world , that's without the huge tv money for next season
