Wet Sham doing well Southampton doing well, and Stoke have the potential to do better. All mid table teams ready to step up and take the fight to the so called bigger teams. With the money involved in the premier league and top players becoming more readily available and willing to come and play. With a season without major injuries and suspensions, a bit of luck and good management Stoke could dream of a top 6 finish maybe like Leicester even higher. Gouranga.

Just watch how much is spent over the summer by the "big clubs" to make sure no "whippersnapper" club does it again.

No I don't think so, its just a one off. You seem very sure of yourself. The TV money next year will ensure that smaller clubs can also compete financially.

At the risk of doing a 'march4', Leicester will be back in the Championship within 5 years.

At the risk of doing a 'march4', Leicester will be back in the Championship within 5 years. The biggest risk to them is all the players they'll want to keep (Vardy, Kante, Mahrez, Fuchs etc) will want big bucks (possibly 100k+/wk) to stay and even the lesser types (but essential to them such as Huth, Morgan, Drinkwater etc) will likely end up on 50k+/wk. All new players of any substance will also end up on mega-bucks Perhaps next season is doable due to the new deal + CL income but I'd not be surprised if they miss out on Europe for the following year and then have a huge anchor of wages to pay with less income. If they are not careful they could become the new Portsmouth (financially at least). I hope not as it means the big guns win (again) Another risk is Claudio - was it a fluke this year? will teams develop strategies to cope with their gameplan? will he leave for one final big pay day (China?) or a final hurrah as the Italy coach? If he goes then I think its likely to go tits-up as its likely any new manager will change the style too much to be effective

If he goes then I think its likely to go tits-up as its likely any new manager will change the style too much to be effective Vardy signed a new deal at 75k a week, next season will show if that's a good deal or they have this year's Ricki Lambert. The problem for Leicester next season is keeping Kante and Mahrez if they go they'll get 40m+ in total but will they be able to convince 20-25m players to sign for them to replace them, yes they'll have champions league football to offer next season but season after probably not unless they recruit very very well. Problems I wouldn't mind Coates and Hughes having to deal with mind.

The thing is Leics managed to perform consistently where others have failed. This season it's been helped because Liverpool and Utd started very poorly. Chelsea were in turnmoil and haven't even figured in the title race. Arsenal are arsenal and Man City have dropped points at crucial times then decided to announce Pep before the end of the season.
Next season there will be new managers at Chelsea and City and potentially Arsenal. It's probably going to be more difficult to do but not impossible.
As for Leics I'm hoping this title doesn't ruin their stability ironically you could make an argument to say they've not re-established themselves in the league yet.
Edit- that's not to take anything a way from Leics consistency as we've seen is very difficult to do.

There was no pressure on them to win the league, even at the end they had too big a buffer.
Next season is the pressure on Leicester. Can they have a good season? What when they actually have injuries, champions league.
Be interesting to see how they go on.

Sets a remarkable example which other clubs may just be brave enough to follow - West Ham to be in the mix next year???

We had idiots on here moaning their bollocks off last summer slaughtering the club and squealing pathetically because we hadn't signed any big money players despite trying to reason with them that it's all about the right players and not how much they cost
Well for those people Leicester's entire team cost £30m
See you all in the summer for more of the same bollocks

Logistically speaking, it would be a nightmare to transport the quantities of performance enhancing substances up the main roads like a500 and a50. Leicester have a back entrance if I remember rightly, whereas we don't.
We'd have to carry them in boxes from the Michelin or something. Pain in the arse that.

Anythings possible just need a lot of breaks and some good quality players.
Keys are
No injuries at all No cup runs causing fixture congestion A few of the big teams in turmoil

What I'm saying is that banging on about the drugs thing is beyond boring now, you've run it into the ground, there's not currently any evidence to suggest that, why not stop banging on about it while you've still got a shred of dignity left?
