First thing to do is to bench Bojan & Affelay for the next few games. Now before someone crucifies me, I'll admit that both Bojan & Affelay have been two of our better players in the last few games but something really needs to be done about our defence & Bojan & Affelay are the 2 players who contribute pretty much nothing in that department. Bojan is probably the easiest player to run past in the premier league & Affelay doesn't bother tracking back at all. We're too easy to play against at the moment & that ultimately comes down to the fact that our flair players don't like doing the other side of the game. Time to go back to the basics & field a strong physical team who're difficult to play against.
Bring back Bardo at RB (unless of course Glen Johnson is available), move Cameron alongside Whelan to tighten up midfield & push Imbula in the number 10 role where he isn't a defensive liability (or if we're feeling a bit more adventurous, why not give Shenton a game in the number 10 role. Yes I know he's probably gonna make the midfield softer but the thing about young players is that if you play them, they won't let you down & they'll without question run their socks off for the team).
And something needs to done about the LB position. I'll be having nightmares for the rest of the week about Muniesa playing against DeBryne & Navas. Any promisising kids available in that position? I'm assuming Shaq's hamstring is going to keep him out next week but even if he's fit, why not go back to the formation that comfortably won us away games against Watford & Bournemouth? Play Diouf out right, Arnie out left & Joselu up front. I know a lot of people hate playing a striker in one of the wing positions but we were very very good against both Bournemouth & Watford, so I'd say it's worth a shot.
And with a tightened midfield & defence with strong physical players, there's a good chance we might put in a solid performance against Citeh. So I'd go with -
-------------- Given ------------------ Bards --- Shaw - Wolly --- (Anyone but Muniesa) -------Whelan ----- Cameron -------- -------------- Imbula ----------------- Diouf ------- Joselu -------- Arnie

I would probably go with that side myself,Cameron has to come in alongside Whelan to strengthen things in their ,Diouf has to be involved for his effort and pace alone ,regardless how many chances he misses etc.

So drop our better players in the hope that Gcam can finally play a decent game in midfield, I agree he can't possibly start at right back anymore and bring in some academy boys - I like it.
Diouff should play CDM we all know how good he is as a fullback or bung him at left back instead. The unders goalie is a decent keeper, give him a go.

After watching the Newcastle Man Citeh game, I'm convinced this is the right formation. Let's get in the Citeh players' faces & we can take something away from this game.
