That was not acceptable, Stoke City caving in at home. One team worked so hard, closing down, passing and moving. I have said for a while that we don't show enough effort, bottle, whatever you want to call it.
We have seen some super football under MH but I'm really not sure we are heading in the right direction. Maybe, just maybe it's time for someone like Pearson, you could have heard a pin drop tonight, that's testament to how we play.
And don't anyone come on here and say it was just a bad day at the office AGAIN, we haven't played well at home since Boxing Day.

Maybe a little encouragement on the pitch would help lift the crowd? Our home form is abysmal.

There is nothing wrong with crowd that a bit of pace, aggression and attacking football wouldn't put right.

The local girl guides would have beaten us tonight.
And i would have backed the brownies to have knicked a point off us.
It was bad .
Please Stoke ... Dont ever play like that again

I was with you to up to the end of the first sentence in the 2nd para! But how we could consider Pearson, or similar, for LMH just defeats me. Absolute crap from all last night - but it can be turned round - it had better be!

Why no to Nigel Pearson? Surely he laid the foundations at Leicester City for their success? Shouldn't our players be working and playing with that sort of verve? Or are we happy with Hughes style of football - back four passing to one another - go one down: back four passing to one another - go two down, back four passing to one another - and so on? I, for one, am bored stiff with the frailties in the side, obvious for months and no work being done to rectify them.

I thought it was an accepted fact on this messageboard that Leicester's success was purely down to them signing Robert Huth As to Nigel Pearson absolutelyfuckingnot, good luck to Leicester for the rest of the season but I wouldn't bank on them finishing above us next season.

Only really Leicester and Spurs have good home crowds - it's obvious why. Rest are either libraries or full of clueless tourists (or both)
Instant gratification culture entrenched around the PL probably to blame. Doesn't excise the fact that it took us 2 goals to get a modicum of good atmosphere against Swansea - which was silenced pretty much immediately

Exactly my thoughts, so many posts about the players being on their summer holidays already - but the same is true of the fans. The days of the bear pit are long gone. People turned up in their thousands and were in extremely good voice for the first 9 minutes. they were then subjected to 81 minutes of ineptitude and capitulation (apart from a very pale 10/15 minute purple patch prior to half time when they found their voices again). Sometimes I wonder what some fans expect from others?
