Don't know where to start but to quote Harry Kane .... " We could have scored 6 or 7 " .....He's not wrong either ! Two shots on target . Defence was a shambles .... No threat up front . Shawxross nowhere near as good since his injury . We need TwO centre halves ! Wolscheid .... Too many any changes week in ...week out ....Hughes need to realise this . Reserve keeper .....No good ...needs replacing We need 2 Strikers .... Anything I've missed ....?

You can have all the players in the world but if the management haven't a clue as to how to get the best out of them or what attacking formation to play from one week to the next what's the point??

Yes. The lack of any attempt from Hughes to do anything to get us back into the game was alarming in the extreme.
The players tonight didn't give a fuck and neither did our manager which is quite scary.

No game plan
Hit and miss all season
Loads of pruning needed
We need quality and consistency - Adam, Wilson, crouch, wingie, texeira, muniesa, wollscheid, possibly bardsley, walters all don't make the grade at this level if we really want to compete
-10 goal difference is embarrassing

Its certainly looking that way mate ....I was tempted to include this precise point ! Too many changes ,...too much tinkering . We need to ban defenders from wearing gloves and tell them to run about to keep warm ....

I'd be concentrating our efforts on getting two centre halves in. Yes we have problems elsewhere but we look especially weak in defence. The injuries to key players have made things worse.
I really hope we haven't seen the end of Shawcross being one of the best in the league.
We have some brilliant players going forward, they're just not being used properly.

We need more pace and mobility If only we had one of the league's fastest players sitting on our bench. With a knack for scoring past Spurs.

We're 9th FFS We've broken our transfer record twice already this season We've also had some amazing games, the highlight being the demolition of Man City at the Brit We have the best squad we have ever had
It's going to be a battle now until the end of the season to keep motivated, as we have nothing left to play for. We have to admit that Spurs were amazing tonight, and even with a fully fit squad in good form we would still have struggled.
Despite the last few results, it's still a great time to be a Stokie.

Agreed we do need to reshape an ageing and pedestrian squad in the summer. Adam's condition was a disgrace, he could hardly run. You can't tell me there wasn't a young and hungry under 21 who couldn't have contributed more. If not we are in trouble. Pace yes please but Hughes teams have never played with it. They've been solid and neat and tidy but we certainly aren't that. Yes Spurs were on a different planet but we just looked lost. Worrying times and next season is crucial for him. Affelay bless him was one who can hold his head high. The rest. Dear oh dear...Shambles!!!

Why didn't Hughes use his 3rd sub? With this defence we might struggle to stay up as things are going . 8 goals in two games and we could have lost by even more .... we we seem to pass the ball sideways because we don't have a target man . Tactically ...INEPT .

We need to get back on track in order to attract players "at the next level" Very disappointing at the moment but a very good performance from Spurs tonight MH needs more from his players, we need to keep the faith

Vis Unita Fortior I agree with pretty much everything you say. The best squad ever could be debatable but surely you must be a bit alarmed at how we gave up tonight? Not just on the pitch but even our manager showed no attempt to get us back in the game. I was also a little concerned at the performance of our record signing who like the player who gave the least of a shit.

My main complaint is that there is too much tinkering going on . Players do not seem to know what to do with the ball .
we don't have a target man . The ball goes from side to side . Wolscheid gets caught out of position too much and does not chase back fast enough . Three times that happened tonight , but the same applies to other defenders . Our marking in the box has become none existent .
We need to stick to a more reinforced pattermn of play .
Bojan is clearly in confidence and Joselu looks frustrated at not being given more of a run in the side .
All in all , not enough consistency .

I was also a little concerned at the performance of our record signing who like the player who gave the least of a shit. Joselu coming on was a bit of an improvement, and at 1-0 down with 60 minutes gone we had a bit of possession and could have easily sneaked our way back into the game. 2 quick goals soon put an end to any chance we had though and Hughes didn't have time to react. Spurs were excellent though and I think they'd have beaten anyone in the league the way they played tonight. The last few games have been really disappointing but overall I'm still happy with where we are this season, we've dropped many silly points at home and injuries have cost us, but if Hughes can get the team fit and ready for the start of next season I think we can achieve great things. I'm not worried, just hoping we pick up a win or two before the season is out and leave everyone in a good mood for the summer, there is plenty to be optimistic about.
