Show this to Scholes. He'll be so happy you've solved the problem of filling in all of the corners and accommodating the big screen, he'll probably give you a free season ticket or something.

Ours have holes in them if that counts. Screens in the seats would be no good for us anyway, too dangerous when they get soaked with the rain and holes in the roof.

I find it slightly bizarre trying to equate a plush new stadium with padded seats and a personal replay screen for every supporter, with 1000s of Besiktas supporters bouncing up and down like mad men and turning the stands into a similar sight to the one you'd imagine you'd get if you're ever unfortunate enough to arrive at the gates of hell.

Surely the tv screens will only be on the seats of the wealthiest supporters. Otherwise its going to become very expensive.

Free wifi in the ground as well I hear.
Heard Vodafone is now the nbr 1 telecom company in Turkey and to be fair they've really pulled out all the stops in terms of marketing themselves.
Great stadium. Not bothered about the TVs on seats though.

Surely the tv screens will only be on the seats of the wealthiest supporters. Otherwise its going to become very expensive. If you read the article it actually says that "tranches of seats will have screens in the back" in other words only seats in some areas will have screens - presumably in the most expensive seats.

Those who went to see Stoke play Besiktas a few years back will know that the stadium is in a fabulous location at the bottom of a hill on the shores of the Bosphorus about a mile and a half walk down from Taksim Square in the centre of Istanbul.
They've gone from having one of the most dilapidated stadiums of any big club (you couldn't actually sit on the seats in the away end, they were so misshapen) to having one of the most impressive stadiums in a few short years - and a sensible size as well - every seat will have a good and reasonably close view of the pitch. I am very jealous. I'd love to see us go back and play them at the new stadium one day.
If they can keep the atmosphere they had in the old stadium it will be one of the best away days in world football!

Looks great, their old stadium was well past its prime but had a fantastic atmosphere. Intimidating to say the least.
