Begovic gets a recall and Chelsea lose.
Forgive me whilst I piss myself laughing :-)

To be fair to him I don't think there is anything he could have done about Swansea's goal and he did make a few good saves.

Wasn't he basically MOTM at Man City early in the season despite getting beat? Not all goals conceded are the keepers fault, shock horror.

This is why world class keepers (and defenders) cost considerably less than world class attackers. World class keepers will still concede goals even if they play perfectly because world class attackers do things that are literally unstoppable.

Chelsea we're very poor. Begovic had a very good game. Looks like he will be their number one next season

I can see a scenario where, Butland gets sold to a really big club (United) and Bego comes home - so I'm loathe to slag him off
or, enjoy his misfortune
I think deep down - he's still a Stokie

To be fair to him I don't think there is anything he could have done about Swansea's goal and he did make a few good saves. He did play well. Looked much more like his old self. I still thinks its funny that everytime he plays they lose. I also think its funny that their defence, seemingly so solid when he doesn't play, turns to jelly when he does.

Bego has been very decent when he's played, I don't think he's had that bad a season at all. Probably should have had more game time tbh

Why is everyone on this forum so bitter and spiteful. He was good for Stoke, and a decent bloke generally. Wish him all the best but I still think Chelsea was a poor, poor choice for him.
