Cheaper than Jermaine Defoes PA I know you're purposely being obtuse & refer you to mumfs above comment I'm not. You made a comparison. I'm a realist. These jobs are everywhere for top level officials. Do i agree with it? Not really. She's had a similar person since he was PM, that was in the press at the time. This one has been there since May. It's not a secret. It's no coincidence that the Independent waited for the right time to dig this story out again for maximum embarrassment. It's not even an argument. Mrs Cameron has to do public duties as wife of. Should the public contribute to this? Probably not but it happens and will continue to happen.

Not really. It's the same as his Panama debacle. He hasn't broken any rules, but it's not quite in the spirit of his talked up game. It's a bit like 40 something men $#a&&!ng 16yr olds. They havnt broken any laws, but you know it's not right

It's any Dr that isn't a consultant. Ie the majority I know exactly what it means, its a doctor still training to become a consultant or a GP. You find me one of those on £53k and then you might have an argument. Dont compare an experienced position to one still training.

The majority of Drs are not & don't necessarily want to be consultants. GP's operate under a completely different structure. But whoever these medics are, they've done at least 5yrs medical training, which is more than some vacuous clothes horse at No10 on £53k

Should the public contribute to this? Probably not but it happens and will continue to happen. Except they've lifted it from the mail: The aide – normally a position for people who help Government ministers – receives up to £53,000 for advising the prime minister's 44-year-old wife, according to the Mail Online. It's amusing watching dedicated free market types trying to defend an expansion of the state into fashion advice for the prime minister's wife. Yet if Jeremy Corbyn were to advocate spending £53k a year of taxpayers' money on something like a race relations adviser, they'd be up in arms. I guess it's fair game to waste taxpayers' money as long as you wear a blue rosette and are only in it for yourself.

I dont know this woman, but age has nothing to do with how good she is at her job. This isnt difficult. Shes experienced and good at what she does and earns a reasonable salary for it. A 1st year junior doctor knows very little and earns an average wage. When theyre experienced and good at what they do, like she is, they earn a shit load more than £53k.

Again, she's 28 so not that experienced. "A first year junior doctor knows very little"? Right-ho
