check out jeff buckleys cover of this, from 4:30 onwards its spine tingling. This was the song played ( the Dylan song) every single morning in the student union at Manchester university when I was a student that got me into Dylan

The performance ( not the song) that changed popular music and culture.

In readiness for ACR at The Sugamill later (really shouldn't have double dropped at work mind).

In readiness for ACR at The Sugamill later (really shouldn't have double dropped at work mind). My favourite ACR is "Knife Slits Water", much prefer the Peel session version, to the one that came out on Sextet. I proper wore out the cassette on my walkman that I'd recorded direct from the radio at the time.

Not heard this before ... fantastic! I'm a big fan of Courtney Barnett and they did an album together. I saw Kurt Vile at the Albert Hall, Manchester last year I can heavily recommend him and the venue

Felonious brought me here, I hadn't heard it before, until about 7 minutes ago! The Day of the Dead tribute album is well worth a listen some excellent artists on there. There's a cracking version of If I had the world to give by one of Cheesy's faves Bonnie Prince Billy. Decent line up Barnett, The National, War on Drugs, Angel Olsen, Stephen Malkmus, etc.
