The best band you've (probably) never heard of.

Anybody else impressed with the Norwegian gem Sigrid? Her own songs are quality for someone so young & her covers are also mighty impressive, amazing voice and her harmonies with the backing singer are top drawer.

Last year I saw Phosphorescent over at the Brudenhill Social Club in Leeds and the bonus was they played wall to wall Gerry Rafferty before the gig Billy Connolly was talking lovingly about him on the radio last week.

Have had the new Michael Kiwanuka album on repeat all week, think it's probably my second favourite album on the year ...

I have not heard of these before but dear god, that it is absolutely brilliant! I am now happily listening (for the very first time) to Muchacho in it's entirety - thank you ...

This is the track that opened the door for me had it on repeat for ages. Great album as well. Edit: 6Music played a National track from the Day of the Dead Grateful Dead tribute album called Morning Dew. First time I'd heard The National and on listening to the Day of the Dead album this track was on it which lead me to Phosphorescent.

The best band you've (probably) never heard of. Unless you're me and they're your favourite ever band!!!! Went to the Barbican a few years ago to see the big tribute concert. Love them.
