One day you’ll be in the ditch, flies buzzing around your eyes Blood on your saddle

So I'm kind of new to this thread and not exactly sure what the protocol is and this contribution might be a little bit self indulgent. But hey, at the end of the day, this is 'what I'm listening to right now' ... posted in the last 72 hours from a little bar in Stockholm, with just 26 views and only 1 like (from me lol!) but fuck me, what a voice she's got? She totally does justice to a Neil Young masterpiece. This is my favourite Neil Young cover.

Glastonbury 1982, this was my second time at Glastonbury (aged 16), probably no more than 30,000 people there at most but literally, having my mind blown out!

Imagine writing a song and knowing that you'll never be able to write a better one because you've just written the best pop song of all time?

Love Miley (she owned the Pyramid stage on Sunday this year) but I'll raise you Meg and Jack ... on the choruses Jack sounds like he's escaped from a sanatorium, you can literally feel his pain!

It's so raw, so visceral, we've just become the biggest band on the planet and this is happening to us right now, in public, we're breaking up, she's literally got tears in her eyes and it's very genuine ...

I saw her many times she had the most beautiful voice, probably still has. Last time I think was at the Robin Hood in Dudley of all places...... the most smoke filled room I've ever been in

Imagine writing a song and knowing that you'll never be able to write a better one because you've just written the best pop song of all time? Imagine also, many years later being able to sing it that well Fortunately I'm old enough to remember it from the first airings on the radio and in all the time since there's only a couple of songs I'd put up there with it and the Prelude song is one of them. If you sit in a darkened room with a decent music system it's hard to beat.

I had to revise my thoughts on her after the Arena concert and enjoyed her performance at Glastonbury this year, she's seriously talented. Jack likes his Country, presumably you're familiar with this.
