Deli Ali looks a massive prospect. Reminds me of Pogba when he first broke through. We finally have a player who can receive the ball in tight spots.
Having said that our defence is just too shit. They were 2-0 up having put us under no pressure at all.
Kane, Deli Ali, vardy, dier, very encouraging and we have definitely improved since the last few tournaments

He'll go back to the old(er) guard I fear, he should be brave and stick with the youngsters, the spine of Dier, Ali and Kane should be there for years to come if they keep progressing the way they are

I would definitely take Rooney to the Euros if he's fit but he wouldn't be starting.

We do have some talented youngsters and without the likes of Terry, Rooney, Cole and co they have also become a rather likeable team too - one that we can get behind.
They are a brave bunch too, how many England sides of the past would have settled for a 2-2 draw and put all 11 men behind the ball and try and hang on for a draw - not this team
I think it was one of the Greek gods of sport that said it would bestow good luck on the bravest. I would really love us to go to the euros and throw the shackles off and give it a really good go and be as brave as feck and just put our defensive frailties aside and try and score 1 more than our opposition, instead of hoping we dont lose or being hard to beat, as in past years..

Don't get excited, the owl twat will slow us right down with the likes of his favourite failures in
Rooney Milner Injured Wilshire Jagielka
then bore us all to tears but we know that last nights team should be the starting 11 in France and tournament football would be great experience going into a World Cup two years later.
Last nights team is exciting but the prick won't play it when it matters.

Brave or stupid? It's a fine line. Didn't we go into Brazil with all out attack - 4-2-4 against Italy and then wondered why we got beaten being over run in midfield and leaving our fullbacks, especially the hapless Baines, totally exposed? It's all about finding the balance.

Every damn time. England are going to win the whole thing based on one FRIENDLY. Its like saying stoke are going to win the league because we beat a top side in pre-season. I know everyone will say 'don't be a miserable bastard' but it happens every time and if england win the. Euros I'll buy a vale shirt. Don't say I'll wear it mind. And it does piss me off that our goalie got injured for this as i will always put stoke over a meaningless game. And i mean meaningless in that it doesn't count for anything

Once Woy has his favourites fit again like Rooney and Milner the likes on Dele Alli and Harry Kane will be straight on the bench so no, I don't think we should be too excited just yet

Not on here but i bet they are in the pubs and how long will it be before the back pages are full of 'can we really win this?' it just makes it even more irritating when roy goes back to his old guard and england don't even get out of their group. I'm not sure other countries set such store over friendlies. Or maybe they do?

What frustrates me is that had we been outplayed or tonked last night there would be much wailing and gnashing of teeth, yet when we play well and win it's 'only a friendly'.

It's all about finding the balance. Tis true we do need to find a balance. You could also argue that 2 years prior to our defeat in the world cup against Italy we took the same side to penalties in the Euros and could have gone through to the semis - by virtue of playing a very cautious game. I think we did alright in the WC, performance wise and were perhaps a little unfortunate to lose both of those games, but at the same time we were always going to concede 1 or 2 goals in those games, so he decided to have a pop and not play so defensive. I think we are an upgrade on the WC team and have even more quality attacking/mid options than previously, so for me he has to play to those strengths and give it a good go this time round too - I also think there are very few euro teams to fear this time round also.

If we take the likes of Butland, Dier, Alli, Kane and Vardy then I shall have a bit more inclination to tune in, however if he reverts to the old guard then fucking bollocks to the lot of it.
