Do we know what Sir Tony's ambition is? I know he wasn't interested in the Wales job before, and I can't see the point of him going there now, but do you think he would hope to move on to very big club. i.e european footy etc. or will he just want to do it all with us? (He doe's seem to love Stoke)

For as long as Peter Coates remains Chairman and provides the funding in order to push us further on, then due to the ultimate respect that they hold for each other then in my opinion Tony Pulis shall be here for a long time to come.
Tony Pulis WAS the ONLY manager that Peter Coates wanted to work alongside, and without this then it is not known if Peter Coates would have even attempted to buy the club back.
In addition Peter Coates "i presume" has made his millions by not suffering fools gladly, astute buisness man and him bringing Tony Pulis back to Stoke City Football Club should have being a tip in it-self that this Football Club was about to take off.
Coates and Pulis came back because of the total admiration that they hold for each other, and same as Pulis said "if Peter has got the balls to come back then so had he".
The rest is history in fact it's fairytale stuff.

I don't want to be picky here Tazi but........... When people complained St Peter wasn't looking beyond Super Tone for the vacant managers job we were told that he had tried Martin O'Neil. St Peter had brought the club back before he offered the job to Super Tone who was apaarently on a beach somewhere at the time. If what you say is true then St Peter made an illegal approach. I think you are romanticising the situation just a tad old boy. It will be Mills & Boon at this rate. ;D

Now that Capello has been set a clear target - semi finals of next World Cup - that he is unlikely to be able to achieve it's only a matter of time before the FA come calling.
