If they win the PL I can see them potentially struggling next season
- best players cherry picked by the big boys. - extra fixtures. - Things start going against them re injuries etc. - everyone after there scalp.
They fully deserve to be where they are but I still aren't convinced there squads any better than ours. They've just been on the biggest roll ever and when that happens it's very hard to stop. It'll be very interesting when they're in the CL how big they spend. A few injuries to key players and they could really struggle.

I still think they'll go down this season. Just wait until they start playing those teams that have them figured out.

I would love stoke to win the premier league if it meant we struggled with people pinching our players and extra fixtures, just the glory of that one win would live with us forever.....so if Leicester do struggle next season I bet their fans would not give a flying fcuk

No doubt you'll see one or two "Gerald Pratt's" about!!! As for Leicester themselves....good luck to them, I hope they are champions come the end of the season, it's a remarkable story....avoided relegation last season and win the premiership the next???

Fair play to them. Remember when they started off well last season they had a very high opinion of themselves and we took the piss .... Now they really are top of the league and deservedly so, well done and struggle to see how the neutral can't appreciate that. Modern miracle.

It'll be a fucking embarrassment.
A team that no-one has ever heard of outside of England, with no fucking money topping the Premier League,
The F.As billionaire clubs being made a mockery of for the entire world to see.
And to top it all off........the fucking Champions League! Fuck me sideways

I just think if they had 4-5 bad results could they bounce back.

If they win it'll make no odds in the long run all that will hapoen is that all the journalists and pundits and other assorted vermin will say 'well it was a fluke season and it was only because the top teams underperformed.' Actually I can't abide Leicester but if they do win it it'll be because they got more points than anyone else over the whole season and you don't do that by fluke. I'd rather see Spurs win it but that's just a preference not a judgement. And it's piss Arsenal fans off to an almost unbelievable degree.

Whatever you want to call it "over-performed", "punched above their weight", "got lucky" it's all bollocks because none of these could be sustained over a full season. They are top of the PL on merit and they full deserve to be there IMO. A lot of it is down to having the same team week after week because, and perhaps they have been a bit fortunate here, they have avoided serious injuries. I really want them to win it because it gives us all a bit of hope.

Leicester are top because they are the best team.
They have lots of talent, maybe not the best, but including 2 of the 2 "hottest" strikers this season. They try harder than anyone else, only Spurs seem to give 100% every match like they do. They have adapted as the season has progressed, addressing their defensive faults. But most of all they have the best teamwork; a total understanding of each other, resulting in excellent synergy*. *https://www.google.co.uk/#q=synergy+meaning

To label 31 games where they've lost just 3 games as them "overperforming" is just as lazy as it is shortsighted and inaccurate.
If you perform like that for 90% of the season then it's not overperforming it's simply performing.
Staggers and disappoints me on here that for years people have been moaning that the Prem is dominated by 4 or 5 teams and no "smaller" teams have a chance of breaking into the top 4...suddenly 1 team does just that and still people moan on here and say they're "flukey...overperforming...lucky...reliant on 1 or 2 players" etc.
Nothing but yhis pathetic British tabloid trait of setting up people to fail and moaning when some do well. Sad to see on here really and massively insulting towards how good the entire Leicester side have done this season. People said they'd drift off if vardy stopped scoring...he did stop and they didn't drift away...they'd drift offnif mahrez got injured...he did get injured they didn't drift off.
Can't people stop looking for bullshit excuses, straws to clutch at and simple give credit where it's due? They've been the most hungry, hard working and consisten team this year playing bloody good football in the process. Fair fucks to them and well done i say.

Bit like the likes of Leeds and Forest in the past, meteoric success often leads to meteoric failure...Blackburn an even better example...

If you look at recent history we've had Ipswich Town in 1962, Forest in 78, and Villa in 81 who fit that bill ( I'm not counting Blackburn). I think football throws these things up every generation, but in this sky sport/premier league era, Leicester's achievements are nothing short of miraculous.

Most fans are 'band wagon' fans. Otherwise why don't all people from Hanley support Hanley FC, why do they support Stoke City?
All Stoke fans don't from the immediate area around the Brittania do they?
Another puerile thread that just smacks of sour grapes and jealousy.
We have Stoke fans who live in Leek, so lets fuck them off too
Without bandwagon fans a club will not survive at this level. Get over it and move on.
and Leicester deserve all of the bandwagon fans they attract....Good Luck to them, I will be cheering them on until the end, it is what the Premiership has been crying out for for over 20 years

Never said they were lucky and no one wants them or Spurs to win more than me but they have been fortunate to have had key players all fit and rolling all season. The team they have is not that different from last season and most of that time they were fighting relegation. The big test will come next season when they start on an even keel with everyone else particularly if they don't have a flier. For me there's not a huge amount to separate most Premiership clubs the biggest factor is confidence and if you're flying you probably feel like you can do anything. Right now we're a better club than Chelsea despite them spending a small fortune. They showed under Mourinho and since he left how much good feeling in a dressing room can dictate how well a team plays regardless of the quality of the players. That said it's a fantastic story which hopefully will have a happy ending.
