I fancy Newcastle.
But I always do - and they always lose.

It is ironic that there is another Derby game being played today involving two clubs from Manchester that has not got a mention on the Oatcake.
Hope City win and Liverpool /Southampton draw. Good results for us.
I will be watching the Newcastle match.

Would love to see Benitez get relegated.
From Madrid to the championship.....until he jumps ship obviously.

Some might expect a Manchester derby to be of more interest than a Tyne and Wear. It would seem that this is not the case in and around here.

Hope they both go down but I'd prefer to see the Mackem monkeys go.

Cracking atmosphere and it should be a fun game for the neutral, I'll happily see them both do down with Villa though and some fresh faces in the premier league next season.

I don't think anyone else in the rest of country understands how big this match is and the rivalry between the clubs. The impact of this match on the local society is massive and the only comparable match was the Glasgow Rangers/Celtic matches there were, and no doubt will return eventually.
Both clubs have suffered from poor owners for many many years and both deserve to be relegated to give them a reality check. The fans are some of the most devoted, if deluded, fans in football and don't deserve relegation. Personally I'd prefer Norwich stay up rather than either of them, although they are the nearest Prem. clubs to where I live; hopefully the Boro are promoted!

Colback will be lucky to stay on the pitch for ninety mins.
I would sub him at half time.

I always thought that a game classed as a derby was when it was played by two teams from the same city.

Get a draw castle. Just keep giving it Townsend.

Better side are deservedly winning. They look a team whereas Newcastle are a group of indivduals. Townsend looks there only threat.

Newcastle are awful. Don't think the fat controller will make much difference. As the saying goes, you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig.
