I'm not sure if this is for real or not However, I'm guessing as it's Wilko's night, a pitch invasion following a successful penalty and being carried like a king with a load of your mates who happen to have all had standing ovations when announced or subbed is a pretty good way to round off the day and indeed a career. Now i would imagine there's one helluva party taking place if any of 'em are still standing A lap of honour might've been a lap too far for some Let's all just chill and enjoy what seems to have been a great send-off.I'm sure a few of the youngsters who played tonight will have had their eyes opened to what really can be achieved with dedication and hard work. A bit of real fan adulation

Definite penalty and Wilko stepped up to bury it for Stoke's 6th. Player and Manager ratings to follow Gouranga. Just a shame we didn't have a lap of honour at the end. The guy on the tannoy must have asked half a dozen times to clear the pitch, but nobody was interested. Not surprised. Only you that seems bothered fella I'd let it go.....

Nah it didn't matter everyone had a great night, and by the time everyone had got off the pitch most of those that didn't go on the pitch had left. Anyway some of the players wouldn't have made it round the pitch after Gouranga.

Awful atmosphere in the q railing...kept getting told to sit down when clapping players on and off the pitch and got some rate funny looks for singing songs...if you can't have a sing-a-long on a testimonial then when can you..
Anyome would have thought we'd been relegated this year the miserable folk in there

Couldn't make it tonight.
However the ending looked perfect to me. Wilko will remember that far better in years to come than some happy clap walk round the pitch after.

Honestly, thought it looked great from up the back of the Boothen, but as time went on and more and more fans just waddled onto the pitch with no sense of occasion or direction it became pretty clear what would happen. Are people saying they wouldn't have liked to give some of their all time favorites and stalwarts of our club the send off they deserved? I guess screaming and senselessly pawing players is the thing to do instead.
A real, real shame it marred what was a very good night.

Pissed off that the bits of grass I managed to forage are a bit too rubbery to be smokeable. I'll dry her out and save it til August. Mint night. Well done Stoke.
Saw Carlo coming off as I was going on, he said: "This is incredible."

Bloody hell some of the posters on here need to lighten up. It was a cracking night and each and every players got a standing ovation when entering or leaving the field. It was great to see Wilko bury a goal and get on the pitch yet we still have a select few moaning because there wasn't a lap of honour and have to resort to insulting fans, you can't make it up sometimes. Anyway, back on a positive note, it was great to see all the players back again and good to see some of the future talents.

The knuckle dragging apes that turned up for Wilko. So tell me..where did you sit? Great night for all TRUE Stokies.. Mostly locals. "If Wilko scores we're on the pitch" was sung throughout the game (along with The Odemwinge song..Steino... and Ricardo Fuller City's Number 10) So what the fuck do you expect at the final whistle? Did you go?

Back to the game instead of WD crying in his milk... Where the bloody hell has cresswell found that extra yard of pace from? He looked sharper tonight than he did in his last year here First time I've seen the younger players have a kick. Telford has good feet and balance, and that bloody left back is like Usain bolt. Heard good reports of them so hopefully they start pushing on

Watch wilko's interview, he says himself that the end was the best moment he could have wished for. Enjoy the night and stop being a broken record.
