Songs have been shit for years with the odd exception. The majority of the greatest hits belong to another era and are forgotten. I presume some might still get sung away occasionally.

I concur about that Billy Ray Cyrus bollocks but the main issue I have is it sounds nowt like the original. Wrong key, wrong tempo, wrong rhyming scheme, I mean if you're going to sing a terrible song at least sing it correctly.
We want him out, we want him out, i want him out, in out in out you shake it all about, you do the Stokie-kokie and you turn it around, my achy break heart is at the ground.
That's my new one, it'll catch on don't you think? I just don't think you understand.

Lots of songs sung by foreign supporters seem to be old 60/70's tunes, obviously don't know what they are singing but makes for good atmosphere.

Our home support is an embarrassment these days.
The majority sit there silent and all you can here is all the fuckwits abusing our players, moaning about how wank we are and howls of derision every time a pass doesn't reach its intended target.

Do we still sing songs? Haven't heard one for ages Rose tinted glasses on many fans' parts? I don't remember the Boothen End at The Vic being a constant barrage of songs? "Oooh ah Noel Blake" and "Oooh Georgie Berry" hardly took a lot of remembering and would class as chants? No, Delilah and WBWY were the main songs as now with a few call and returns (Go on Stoke/Who are the people?) thrown in for good measure. Oh, and whenever we got a corner it was "Go on City, Go on City", but we dunna get corners any more do we? Bring back 'Land of Smoke and Glory' I say

Best period ever for Songs was under Macari 91-93, Lou Lou Skip to my Lou Macari and Lou Macaris Barmy Army oooo, which just seemed to go on for ages and it was brilliant
Now they were the singing days for sure
