I think we've probably got more chance of signing Axl Rose.
When he gets over his metatarsal injury of course.

Addressing concerns about us going soft.
Can't wait to see him and Adam in midfield against Arsenal.

4 years in Russian football is enough for most people!
IF we've gone back in after a failed January bid, we must think he's open to it?
Are there that many non-Prem teams that could afford the package? And if they want a fee for him, they've got to sell this summer

May not be as steep in terms of fee as feared. €15m would be good value - £11.38m?

Man Im excited now. We need to continue our progress from the previous two transferwindows. We really can attract players we could only dream of just two years ago. Mr Hughes really deserve a ton of credit for the transformation hes done to the club. And then Im talking about our stature not the tactics. The increase in stature is the big thing hes done for us so far.

I'm not so sure if he's playing in Russia then I'd suggest money is his biggest motivator and if that's the case I wouldn't be surprised if we offer the bigger wages.

Because of his quiet demeanour who would you rather play for Hughesy or some loudmouth like Alladyce or Pardew.

I am not sure mate, I think Roma are 1 of 3 or 4 in Italy that can still offer a better financial package than half the Premier League would be willing to do. I also think there is more than just money, even if playing in Russia. Zenit are quite a pull, they have competed quite well in the Champions League and until this season I thought they would take the Europa League at some stage. Therefore, Champions League footy should just above seal it.

I haven't seen anything to suggest that Imbula can replace Whelan. He's a box to box midfielder or an attacking midfielder as far as I'm concerned. He doesn't seem to have the skill set to do the Whelan job - although he might develop into a superb box to box or attacking midfielder.

Thought our policy now concerning buying players for decent transfer money was to buy young? A 27 year old midfielder wouldn't fit in with that to my mind.
