Mourinho - No excuse for how shit Chelsea were earlier in the season. Guardiola - unproven until he actually manages a side which isn't already the best in its respective league and has the most money. LVG - Looking at United now I don't see how he's any better than Moyes. Spent a fortune and still can't score goals. Giggs - Already touted as a future Man United manager. A disaster waiting to happen Mourinho and Guardiola over rated? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ![(rofl)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/wMWjB17JNiCK5pUPtfmL.gif)

How are Benitez and Mancini overrated? Both have cracking records. Benitez has a CV featuring failure after failure. He started the rot at Liverpool, which they've never recovered from. He was rubbish at Inter, he was rubbish at Napoli and he was rubbish at Real Madrid. He's nowhere near the semi-deity that Liverpool supporters paint him as. Mancini is alright if you give him all of the money in the world and ask him to win a league title. He hasn't got a clue how to approach European football, which is why Inter and Man City ditched him, and he'd be totally out of his depth at a club like Stoke. Had he worked his way up from the bottom, nobody would ever have heard of him. Oh, and I've seen his tactical ineptitude at the Brit, several times. How about Valencia? Real Madrid is a poison chalice I do feel.

Martin O'Neil for sure, he's in the 'throw enough shit at the wall and some of it will stick (shit being money)
Gary Neville? People keep saying he'll be an amazing manager (same with Giggs) but they haven't done their apprenticeship in lower (or any) league

our own current England manager, not sure that is the correct description for Roy. If he was paying to assemble said team, cost v performance

A lot of froth posted on this thread. Mourinho best managerial record in Europe followed by Guardiola and Simeone. We now Mourinho can thrive in England, Simeone will too not certain about Pep but you can't just trash his record even if he fails. O'Neil was a good manager in England as is Hughes but needs that bit of silverware to cement that. We do tend to overrate the position of manager in England.

McClaren has always been overrated for me.....he had a fan run to the dug out at middlesbourgh... and throw his season ticket book at him how he got the England job I will never know.....perhaps it was a fifa type appointment He got the England job because the media demanded an English manager. Make of that what you will

Has to be Mourinho for me, calling himself the 'special one' when all he seemed to do was sign cheques.. Put him in charge of Crewe or Vale, then let's see how special the throbber is.

He did but he also failed them in the league when the title was there for the taking and left them in a worse state than he found them. They were Champions League perennials and the fact that they've had to struggle back up partly because of his shocking transfer business.

Benitez, Martinez and Mancini. How are Benitez and Mancini overrated? Both have cracking records. Mancini can't do it on European competitions. Man City shod have sacked him after they beat us in the cup. Benitez is a right bottler. Ace before he went Liverpool but since, not so.

I'll name a few... Alan Pardew Woy Hodgson Manuel Pellegrini Pardew's record is pretty decent. He got Newcastle into Europe and they've been on a decline since he left. He's also done well at Palace despite a bad run of late.
