Thank fuck we don't do it at stoke. Seems too be the in thing this season. Don't know what's worse this or the championship song "we like it" which villa fans mastered at our place ready for next season.

Remember the fireworks displays in the early days of Sky Sports? They were good! I remember being on sky early doors at the vic against Vale, in think in a cup game under the lights. Tina Turner night bush city limits blaring out the speakers and fireworks going off. Great!

I believe the light shows are popular at NHL games. I'm not anti-american but bringing americanisms into football is just wrong. It would be better if, from 10 or 15 minutes before kickoff the speakers are turned off and the crowd was allowed to create their own atmosphere. Still, it can't hold a candle in wankness to playing music after goals. puke

Night games - turn all the lights off. Stick a number flamethrowers around the pitch,, few by the tunnel, and a few in front of each stand. Gets done at the rugby, was at the millennium stadium when they did about a year ago...builds an incredible atmosphere, intimidating too.

The wind through the gap would blow the flamethrowers onto the tunnel and we could have our players running through the tunnel of fire haha

We should get Cesc Fabregas, douse him in paraffin, switch off the lights, spark him up and let him run round the pitch.

Looks good as a one off at the right club. People doing it week in, week out make it all a bit pointless.
It looks good on a Champions league night at the Emirates or Etihad, no so much on a Tuesday night at Bournemouths matchstick stadium.

I was at the Barca v Espanyol match in 2006, they beat their local rivals 2-0 in their last home game and won the league, it was their last match before going to Paris to beat Arsenal in the CL final. It was a night match and the light show and fireworks after were fantastic, we were in the ground for an hour after the match, that was the way to do it.

Remember the rocket in the crowd incident at wolves. Could do with similar at the Emirates. 60000 rockets pointing at 60000 wankers.
