Utter badly written tosh. "Chelsea...could not afford to sleep"... You ever seen anyone falling asleep on a pitch (well, playing in a match, anyway)?

Just read that in his report in the Express. It goes to show that match reporting is a lost art. All they do is turn up with an agenda, try and get an angle to write a pages worth about the 'bigger' club ......and then retire to the bar. None of this watching the actual game nonsense!

Take comfort from this
First of all - newspapers in their primary form (hard copy newsprint) are obsolete as a concept
e.g. what use in todays modern world is, something that tells you what happened yesterday ?
then - there are 'London Centric' Jounros
Rest assured - soon - he'll be lucky to get a job on a fruit and veg stall if, that is the sum total of his efforts

If you search for him on Twitter, you'll realise that accuracy/reality isn't really his suit.

He's ruined it with that comment. It doesn't tie up with the rest of the report.

He's clearly trying to improve his notoriety, by writing such a bollocks article, he's aiming to rile up some Stoke fans so they volley him with abuse on Twatter and he can make a big deal out of it and get everyone talking about him.
It hasn't worked, I haven't got a fucking clue who he is.

"Stoke boss Mark Hughes said: “I was set to sub him but that’s the kind of luck your need."
I bet he didn't.
You'd have thought that a basic grasp of English would be a pre-requisite for a journalist.

Its a completely inconsistent report. It starts by bigging up Chelsea (presumably because kissing London ass will keep him in a job) but then goes on the acknowldge that Stoke were pretty good.
If anything its a piece written by a bit of a slime ball with an eye on where his bread is buttered.

You'd find better quality journalism on the back of a Corn Flakes box.

They just write what they assume would have happened.

It's just a "syndicated" report, he wasn't at the game. Exactly the same report, from same hack, in Express. They must think we are stupid! Oh yeah, we buy the rag so...

Utter badly written tosh. "Chelsea...could not afford to sleep"... You ever seen anyone falling asleep on a pitch (well, playing in a match, anyway)? I though Agbonlahor was going to get down for a kip at Man City on Saturday, he just seemed to stop and bend over in half when play was near him
