I think this guy is really starting to show his class, great game today, I thought he was excellent against toon and not too shabby against villa. Really starting to take a shine to this guy, and those thighs!

The lad is getting better with every game. Today he looked full of confidence and is starting to look a £12M player.

He has been superb in the last few games. He was struggling a little bit in the first half but he played through it. Great movement throughout the game. Does anyone know if he gets the assist on that goal?

He is showing his true class now. Wonderful time to be a Stokie! A good transfer window in the summer, and the world's our oyster!

No coincidence that he's looking better the fitter he gets.

Thought he was excellent today and he's a very clever football in that he can see a pass. My only critisicm would be that his crosses are too low and rarely get above knee height.

He's started seeing out the full 90 mins where as before sparky would take him off. Took him half a season to bed into the team and get used to the premier league a smaller player like bojan had to figure out how to adjust his game now he's done that the lad can really push on and take us places.

If he can learn how to take corners and get the occasional cross in from the dead ball line with his right foot he'd be world class.

During the preview on soccer Saturday, Jeff Stelling is calling Shaq his "body double" and did the crossed arms goal pose! Was quite amusing

He's clearly enjoying himself which really helps his game. Only going to get better as long as his hammy holds up okay

I think his goal on Wednesday will have done wonders for him.
It was the type of hit that had become synonymous with him during his earlier career (and throughout his international one too).
For whatever reason he'd not got remotely close to striking one that well and I believe he will go from strength to strength while he's with us.

I wasn't a huge fan of Shaqiri or Arnie at first (TBH Arnie is so grumpy looking half the time, and thought he might be a bit of a prima donna) but after the Newcastle game on Wed i've become a huge Shaqiri fan. Shaq and Arnie are a star combo. He's brilliant at assisting from the right and punchy little thing on his own too. (as Newcastle can attest)

More space to work in. Diouf brings more to the table then a steady goal ratio
Edit - although, Christ almighty why can't he take on a man.

If the two week break in Dubai did alot of good things for us and it certainly give them a much needed break, the best it must of done is give Shaq time to work on his wing play If anyone has noticed in the three game since the Dubai break we have played, he has took on his man more, he has crossed it in the box more, and he has started taking more shots and scored as a result. As a result of this, he has looked or is really started to look like the player we thought we were buying in August. When he takes his man on and plays with purpose, which he has clearly worked on with the training staff, he looks a really class player.
I have to admit I started doubting him at times but I reckon he's gonna make me and many others on here really look like a fool for how many seasons he stays with us
