I've just been checking the fixtures for the rest of the season, to see which away games I can go cause of work and I didn't realize how hard they are! Surely nobody has harder away fixtures left than us?
1) Chelsea - never got a point at this place, they've come into some form. 2) Watford - Having a superb season since they came up. currently above us but this is one we should be looking get a result from if we want to push on 3) Liverpool - Haven't won there in the league since 1959, yes I know we won in the cup but this is the league, tricky! 4) Man City - Yes we won last season but they will be needing the points for the title push. 5) Crystal Palace - last away game of the season, these seem to always beat us even when on this crap run the last game they won was yes against us.
We could be lucky get 3 points from these games, thankfully our home games are very winnable and we've already won 5 away. If I could pick 1 definite win it would be Liverpool.

If we could predict it we'd all be millionaires and then stop following football. It's not scripted yet. Surely that's the appeal. Fret not and run at every game screaming.

Palace's home form is relegation standard, W4 D2 L8. So we've no chance in that one Liverpool have only won 4 out of 12 home games. Watford (p13) & Chelsea (P14) have each only won 5. Only Man City have decent home form, and even they have lost 4 to date. It's a topsy-turvy season, and on our day we're capable of beating anyone. On the flip side, we're also capable of screwing up against the likes of Villa at home...

Spot on mate everyone thinks we should win every home game, if football was that predictable I wouldn't be doing the job I'm in now.

There are no easy games in this league.
Anybody can beat anybody on their day.

Even taking on board the 'anyone can beat anyone in this league, Brian' cliche, our home run is pretty benign. Villa, Newcastle, Swansea and Sunderland are all significantly worse than us. West Ham and Southampton are very similar to us and only Spurs are significantly better. We should be looking at harvesting serious points from that lot.

One of Mark Hughes many achievements with this squad is that he has instilled his winning mentality to the players.
He goes into every game thinking we can win, and the players now share this culture.
12 games to go, 36 points up for grabs and we're 5 points off 5th place. I think we'll get to about 56-58 points, but who knows? Despite missed opportunities, this could still be an amazing season for Stoke City.

7 home games and 5 away sounds OK, on paper.
Time to get on a roll and start breaking down those defences at The Brit.

I think we could get 7 points from that lot, but I've only predicted one result right this season so its either 15 or 0 points then.

No need to be afraid of anyone anymore i am sick of hearing the term "big club " All teams in the prem are big clubs now and on their day all results are possible

And 7 home games compared to 5 away. We have the easiest run in of any club - Villa, Swansea, Newcastle and Sunderland at home. 20 points minimum firm out last 12 games

We're better away from home than at home. Counter attacking football suits us & in Imbula, we've got a masterclass who has already embraced the chelsea midfield once this season. No need to fear any of those teams anymore.
