Particularly love the Rotherham away one at 5.15 - Can that really be 23 years ago now??

This guy popped a few in from distance too The last minute winner v Chelsea is one that will live long in the memory. At the time we looked like we may possibly be involved in the relegation mix and there was still a great deal of uncertainty around the appointment of Hughes. As well as being a glorious last minute winner against a really strong opponent who we had failed to beat since promotion, I really feel like that goal was what got the ball rolling with regards to the current trust and excitement in our manager's leadership. Whilst there are some regrets about Assaidi's spell here, the importance of that moment can't be understated. To me that was the start of the current era and here's hoping that we are still in the infant stages of Hughes' reign.

Richard Forsyth versus Wolves. Can't find a video if anyone can help. Well worth it!! Late 90's ish. Just been looking for that one myself. Early November 1997 in a 3-0 win against Wolves in the first season at the Britannia. We actually started that season well and that impressive 3-0 win against a well fancied Wolves side took us 5th and we were thinking about a playoff push. Then we went on a long losing run immediately afterwards where the gutless tendencies of that particular squad of players were ruthlessly exposed. We had too many players whose heads would instantly go down the moment things went wrong and what started with a few narrow defeats suddenly spiralled into a long run of heavy defeats with the 7-0 at home to Birmingham being the nadir. While we didn't exactly have a brilliant squad with the talent we had available we should never had gone down that season. We had players like Graham Kavanagh, Larus Sigurdsson, Peter Thorne, Kevin Keen, Andy Griffin (for half a season), there was enough quality to stay up but there were far too many weak characters with equally weak management to back it up. Anyway I've got sidetracked, anyone got footage of that Forsyth goal?

I don't want to create a new thread, but as Imbula's goal was also a volley, I thought we should also include our favourite volleys from the past (even those in the box).
Here's a couple of the more memorable ones:

Whelan's goal here. A crucial game that season. Also a big fan of his volley vs Palace I think from a corner in the Championship

Keeno's volley against Derby is still one of the best goals I've ever seen from a Stoke player. Didn't Vale reject van Der laard nab a last minute equaliser for them to take the shine off it?
Whelan's goal against Villa is a good shout because of the sheer importance of it. We were 2-0 down and absolutely out of it then from nowhere first Shawcross then Whelan with that goal rescued a point for us and kept our momentum going that saw us to safety.

Cannot find the video of the goal on YouTube and it's too late to be arsed to look anywhere else but I always remember the Tuncay goal against Man Ure in 2011 I think?
There was a good player there still even if he wasn't utilised properly.

Remember seeing that one on Sky Sports. Think it was 2006? Absolute cracker. Jerome's against Southampton is a good'un as well. Absolutely fucking smashed that one in off the bar. Totally forgotten the Jerome one; mind you forgot the player himself!
Belter of a goal thugh
The last Stoke goal I saw with my own eyes before I left for Australia a week later... So this one sticks in my mind. I can still hear the noise now, the dull thud as he hit it echoed around the stadium and you knew it was going in before it had even left his laces... Crouch v Man City has to get it for the execution though and the fact it was past England's no1
