Was £11,000 according to their Facebook page (including £1000 from Evertonians) Good effort if that's right. Astonishing for such a wet day - would be nice to see the club and/or players matching that amount

Yeh saw that in the Power League - a great effort indeed and should be matched £ 4 £ by the club.........as an aside they were followed a few minutes later by the cerebal palsy lady who does the rounds at every home match - does anyone know who she collects for? Is there a web site or FB page?

Despite the weather, despite the performance, despite the result, never been prouder to be a Stoke fan.
A massive thanks to all those who gave so generously on Saturday. We raised a few quid short of a staggering £11,000 in memory of Lucas and it was a truly humbling to experience the kindness and support from so many.
You did our our boy proud
Thank You

Yes, I read it on your FB page. It was a magnificent effort from everyone, especially the collectors who stood out in one of the wettest days we've had for years at the Brit. Bless you both.

Top effort from everyone concerned. Nobody should have to go through the the grief of losing a child.
Hopefully this will continue to snowball.
All the best to everyone involved.

Thanks. Amazing support from our fans raising £10,956 in just over 2 hours. Many of the collectors had not been to a football match before and were humbled by the experience. Loads of stories of Stokies giving so generously and looking out for us to donate to help raise funding in memory of Lucas and for our cause to help find treatments for other children. Everton fans coming off the coaches donated £976.44 and donated at other places around the ground so raised over £1,000 of our total. They have also continued to donate today on our just giving page crowdfunding.justgiving.com/Lucas-Williams6-LittleStokieWe have asked the Club and Sentinel to update Stoke fans on what they achieved for Lucas' Legacy. Thanks again - Lucas's Dad www.facebook.com/LucasLegacy6/

There were collectors in the White Star and The Glebe before the game when I was in and every single person in both pubs was contributing from what I saw, same around the ground, have to say I was quite moved by the show of support for this great cause.
Massive well done to the collectors.

I've got to agree the collectors did a fabulous job in awful weather - I walked the match from penkhull and my hands were too cold to fold my money to get it to fit in the Bucket so God knows how cold they must have been.
On seeing the Facebook pics later on it actually made me not care about the result which never happens, usually in a bad mood all wkend when we lose.
Great cause, great work by all involved and long may it continue and I'm sure it will.
