Selling Huth was the stupidest decision I have seen at our club in years. Signed march (aged 4) Never pictured you being that old Marchy!

TBH you can generally guess the age by the retardiness of the comment. Any wrist slashing at the first sign of a disappointing performances generally means they are under 20. Likewise anyone who was thinking we could get into Europa (or even CL) at end of December was also under 20. A great season for us looks like a 7-9 place finish and a decent cup run, which we have already had. Gradual improvement next year when we might be on fringes of Europa league place would be good. BTW - comparisons with Leicester are silly, their season is mental beyond belief and I really hope they win it, us like lots of others (southampton, Everton, Newcastle, West Ham etc) will all be thinking if they can do it, why not us. While the traditional big clubs, including Liverpool and Spurs will see this season as a big missed opportunity if Leicester do win it I think some of the older addled brainers are worst. Those who until we were in the Prem hadn't been to a game since the mid 80s, save for the odd big cup tie, and who brought back ridiculous opposition supporting 'oh when the REDS' because they used to "sing it in the seventies". Listen to them every week on praise n grumble.

75 next month, but in the general scheme of things where we oldies revert back to being like little kids, take any comments I make as coming from a 10 year old. Under Hughes, no what matter what shit he turns out, I'm still like a kid in a sweet shop that I'm not watching some of the fucking drivel that Pulis turned out after the first two seasons in this league. Take today for instance... I was fuckin' frozzen; pissed wet through; watched my team get slaughtered 3-0, and came away from the ground thinking it was just a bad day at the office all round. And just as I didn't go overboard at our prospects when we massacred Man City at the end of last season, neither will I cry like a baby like some of you 'mature fuckers' because we lost a game of nogger to a very good side that took advantage of an early goal and some sloppy defending by us. Reflection: I think Hughes has made one big mistake since he came here... he let Robert Huth go far too early, and that's because Hughes was trying to run before he could walk. Because life is about learning from your mistakes, that's not knocking Hughes too hard. Neither am I having a go at Wolly. I reckon the lad will eventually become a great player for us - better than Huthy - but at the moment we're missing the big German's presence at both ends. But good luck to Huthy. I hope Leicester win the league just for him. Huuuuuth! OS.

And I thought the educational system only failed the younger generation. Why are you a product of said educational system. What did you think of our performance today ? I think I benefited from excellent teachers, a rarity... Obviously. The match? Yeah he looked good, took his goals well, had lovely hair and his eyes matched the black top he was wearing. Oh sorry, Stoke? It just threw me, with you talking about it an all.

If you put an age to half the posters on here it would be like the guest book in Gary Glitters bedroom

Not often one sees such grammatical purity. You've even got the capital letter right after your ellipsis. Well I'll be blowed. OS.

Took me an hour of glancing at the thread title to realise it wasn't about defending corners.

Huth does not play pass it out of defence.
Huth would have been sent off 5 times this season in a Stoke shirt.
You can't turn back time is the truth of it I know I'm 55
Still think Wolls lack of pace is a disaster and easily targeted by the opposition.

I am seriously considering flushing this fanzine site down the toilet. It might help if the ages of posters were visible so we could perhaps make allowance for the silly comments. I'm beginning to think I keep seeing Robert Huth and Ryan Shawcross fly through the air in Supermen suits. The reality is that they were great gladiators in Stoke's early formative years but when they are absent we raise them to be ex halted as Gods. Ridiculous! Huth has done well at Leicester, ridiculously well but is not better than Shawcross and Wollshied. The truth is that Mark Hughes priority is to seriously consider how he going to improve the whole back four in our team. Stoke have the best quality players they have ever had in their history. It will take some time for them to reach a level that consistently represents their quality. It is disappointing when we play poorly but try and be a bit more patient with the lads. Trust in your manager and coaches because overall it has been a great time so far. I believe Europe is not too far away especially if we get behind our team. "Stoke have the best quality players they have ever had in their history." Really? You might be a bit dazzled by the size of transfer fees, ponytails and tattoos. Even picking players from the last few years, Peter Thorne, Peter Hoekstra, Sergei Shtaniuk, Danny Higginbotham, Abdy Faye, Ricardo Fuller and Matt Etherington would walk into this team. Rubbish. 40.
