If we have no proper centre backs available other than Muni we could pair him with Pieters in the middle and play Johnson at left back. Bardsley didn't disgrace himself against Manyoo the other night and could play right back again.
Nowhere near ideal, I know, but probs the best lash up we could achieve.

Bardsley didn't disgrace himself against Manyoo the other night and could play right back again. Nowhere near ideal, I know, but probs the best lash up we could achieve. I agree with that solution. I think Bardsley's having his best period for us, a purple patch over his last few games, blotted only by the Chelsea sending off. He was playing really well in that game too. Until that all too frequent Red Mist moment. He's shown a bit more defensive discipline, better passing and that thunderbolt free kick vs Wednesday was mint, he did pretty well with that dithering free kick effort against Palace. I'd be happy to see Bardsley feature. LB or RB. He looked like he was enjoying his football against Man Utd, pissing about with Rooney etc, perhaps he's chillin out. No doubt it'll be met with howls of derision but I'd be happy enough to see Teixeira getting a go. CB or LB. I want to see more of him before writing him off. In the small amount I've seen on streams of friendlies, 3 minutes vs Villa, he looked like he had the physique and the potential. I feel a bit of sympathy for the lad, he came here with a bit of buzz and looked the part {on paper at least}, but promptly broke his foot. I applaud him for playing for the U21's and dropping down to the lower reaches in his attempt to fight back. Doesn't seem to have lost his head nor agitated for a move back abroad {I know ££££££££, but still that doesn't always stop unhappiness and disruption.} Football is full of crazy twists and turns. I wish him well.

My gut feeling is we will do the double over Everton , by no means is it a disaster if we don't though :-)

I think one of Shawcross or Wollscheid will play. Imbula will probably be on the bench, as should Walters and Crouch.
If there is any sense in this crazy old world, Diouf will start......as a striker......and score a couple of goals to boost his flagging confidence. BMX to play behind him and Ibra and Glenn in the engine room.
Maybe no Lukaku, a big blow to them, so let's get a morale boosting win.

What is everyone's gut feeling v Everton? Mine tells me, we will score, but lose. Hope I just have a bad gut at the moment. My very honest gut feeling is we wont score and we will concede 2 if Shawcross and wooly dont play, realisticaly everton could score 4

Time for Johnny Tex to step up, score our first goal from a set piece this season and then mark Ross Barkley so viciously that he spirals into a pit of self-despair and alcoholism after the game.
Dionatan Teixeira appreciation society #1.

I have a feeling if Imbula plays hughes will try Bojan at centre forward again. Can't drop Afellay after his recent performances and Everton won't sit back so it may work. If not, he has to drop Crouch after tuesday. I'd have Joselu in for him and Shaq for Walters.

This could be an entertaining game. Martinez's teams tend to come out a which should make for an open game. Both sides have weakened defences. Let's hope Hughesy thinks that attack is the best form of defence and we have a go.
Could go either way but I think there will be a few goals again.

not going to be 0.0 is it Although now me and you have predicted goals, 0-0 looks a nailed on certainty! I'll go for an entertaining, error strewn 2-2 draw.

It's looking like we're going to need plenty up front tomorrow to counter our shortcomings at the back. These highly paid players need to put in a double shift and up their game. 3 - 2

I think its a tough game for us Everton seem decent away and we will need all our players back on song , hopefully after resting v Palace and Man U some of the poor lambs energy will have returned . I would like to see Joselu tried in the n0 10 role and Diouf up top to give us a bit of a change round but defence is obviously a worry too , should be an interesting afternoon

I have a sneaky feeling that Wolly will play though it is worrying the recovery time it is taking GCam in particular.
We need to start playing to our strengths rather than thinking about the other team.
I'd go with
..............Jack.............
Glen.....Wolly.....Muni....Erik
........Whelan.....Afellay.....
Shaq..........Bojan........Arno
..............Diouf............
With Imbula on the bench

If Ryan is back then I think we will have a fair chance against the Toffees. Can't see us getting much with some of the defensive suggestions otherwise.

Gita love predictive test Beardsley Johnstone Merina coil Pietermaritzburg The first three make sense, but that last one is the sort of mangled phrase I'd expect to come fleeing from the mouth of a German after he's just been hoofed full board in the gonads.
