Have the players made comments on last night via Social Media?
I don't do twitter or instagram and such like but I always like seeing various comments when people post them on here.

Feel bad for poor Crouchy He was immense last night. How did he carry on for 2hrs with barely a game played in the last year? The flick on to MVG when he hit the post was sublime.

Won nearly every header, and more importantly they were accurate. I know we went 'back to basics' with the tactics last night but it was great to see the big man running the show again.

Surprised at how many Liverpool fans seem to love Crouch still. He has loads of replies (from dipper fans) calling him a hero etc.

It was something else. At extra time, I really wanted Joselu to come on, but after we used our third sub I thought come on Crouchy, keep going and by god he fucking did. He was brilliant. All of a sudden Peter "his time is up" Crouch is a name on everyone's lips again. What a player and servant to this club.

He was brilliant last night and 'pissed all over' those who were so adamant (yesterday) that he's crap at winning headers. I was one of those advocating he played last night and it's not a case of "I told you so" because it was obvious to anyone (thankfully MH got it) that Liverpool really struggle with those tactics. It worked great and Crouchie was outstanding. No surprise at all that Liverpool fans are ready to support him as he's always well received back there and at most of the clubs he has played for (and there's a lot of them). Ya gotta love the guy.

I don't think we help crouch much last night. All the balls to him were nowhere near and we didn't get any crosses into the box.

I don't think we help crouch much last night. All the balls to him were nowhere near and we didn't get any crosses into the box. On a night of very few (performance wise) regrets I think that is something we could/should have done more especially when Shaq came on and was up against the already booked Flanagan. A couple of crosses hung up to the back post to the big un may well have caused some issues.
