I have no feelings for Liverpool other than the fact they beat us and now go on to a final. It was an old fashioned sporting gesture. I do sympathize with their supporters because they're not Stokies. I'm just bitter and twisted Foxy, I'll be better in the morning......I hope. I know mate. I know. I'm dreading tomorrow.....

I'm as gutted as anyone, but those lads did their bloody best tonight. They deserve our support without any doubt. Personally, I thought Flanagan should have been sent off, but it's not going to change the result now. A sincere well done to each and everyone of them.

Never ever been prouder in defeat. Thank you Mark Hughes. Thank you Peter Coates. Thank you every single player who played his part tonight, this season and in our resurgence. Thank you all the fans who went tonight, watched on the box, watched online and watched around the world. I wish Liverpool and their fans well.....but they'll never know the pride I feel now.....we are something very, very special and tonight proved it to me. I love Stoke City. Thank you. Brilliant mate. Absolutely.

Travelling home on a filthy evening heartbroken but exceptionally proud of our lads, every one of them. And the manager and his staff.

With the exception of wishing Liverpool and their fans well, I totally agree. What a night we might not have won but I wouldn't have missed the atmosphere for anything. We put their fans to shame. So proud to be part of Stoke!

Every silver lining has a cloud named Benji. Wet, grey and thoroughly miserable. I like Benji's posts - no matter how sad you get at least you're not living in Benji world. Long may he rain.

My bottom lip is hanging to the floor. Absolutely gutted but I'm having to see the bigger picture here. 36 years ago I first watched stoke city at the vic and we have plummeted into the abyss at times during my lifetime. Now we are mixing it right at the top and I've never been prouder. Fantastic efforts last night. I won't forget that. The players gave everything and you can never ask any more. SCFC

We can hold our heads high, great performance and a desperately unlucky way to lose the tie.
I think we can only get better too!

Had to give up years ago. Wow! A non-drinking Stokie. I'm even more in awe of you now!!! Arise Sir March!! Just how the fuck did March get through the last couple of years of the Pulis era without alcohol? Blokes who stick their nadgers in crocodile's mouths don't deserve as much respect.

A fantastic performance that we can all be proud of, won at Anfield for the first time in fifty years only to go out in the lottery of penalty's. Every player gave their all and we were the better team and deserved the win and were so close to going through before the shootout.

Pieters and Wolschied run up to Crouchy and Muniesa when they missed straight away to give them a pat on the back and a bit of love.
Class players. Class People.

Stoke players and fans left nothing other than wounded pride from missing out on a cup final at Anfield, losing cruelly in the lottery of a penalty shoot out.
Proud of the Irish lads and proud of the rest of the team. Onwards and upwards to our best ever PL placing and hopefully another long FA cup run starting on Saturday.

A great night, very, very disappointed that we went out on penalties. Got home this morning and feeling really proud of what Hughes and his team has achieved in the last 2 and a half years. So pleased with that performance.
We won for the first time for 57 years. We lost the tie!
So to hell with all those FICKLE fans who come on here and think we are doomed when we lose a game!
City till I die!!!!
