Proud of the team tonight and the fans at the ground, but also, living away from home, I absolutely love coming on here on nights like this and seeing us all (well most of us) rally together as one club. It makes me homesick, but reminds me why I love being a Stokie.

So fucking gutted but so elated we are now a genuine top side. We went to Anfield and bossed a game playing the style of football that Liverpool are renowned for. This is the beginning of the next stage of our amazing Renaissance. Hard to know wether to laugh or cry. Probably best to do both!

Proud of the lads, we were the better side on the night but shit happens in life. Many months ago I blocked Benji's posts because he was so clearly a wind up merchant but unfortunately I can't block Benji's quotes from other posters. The thing that amazes me is that posters still respond to him, please for FFS ignore anything he posts, he is the best WUM ever and you all keep getting sucked in.

Always been proud of my team even when we were down in the lower leagues, but tonight I was especially so, and there shouldn't be a real Stoke supporter who doesn't feel pride in that performance. Well done every one of the players and Sparky and all the backroom team for a herculian effort that failed because of a lottery shootout. I hope Muni doesn't take his miss to heart. He was part of a team that kept a clean sheet at Anfield. That's what he should be concentrating on now, so chin up fella.
OS.

Absolutely deflated to go out like that. To come to Anfield, dictate a semi-final & win in normal time shows the class this group has. I'm so proud of Stoke City

I have no feelings for Liverpool other than the fact they beat us and now go on to a final. It was an old fashioned sporting gesture. I do sympathize with their supporters because they're not Stokies.

I am know watching Attenborough and the dinosaurs, i.dont know what else to do!! Same here. Feels a bit like the Hillsbrough game. Nowt like Hillsborough where we were robbed. Today, we outplayed Liverpool and came up short on penalties, which are always a crap shoot. Summat to be said about replays - took a second replay against WHU in '72.

We completely outplayed Liverpool in their own backyard. They are very fortunate to go through. If we can keep this team together and add one or two quality players we could do anything. I'm so bloody gutted though. Sport sometimes is cruel. We really deserved to go through.

The club is genuinely starting to show the signs of fulfilling the potential we all felt for so long. As gutted as I am, I am also as excited as I've ever been about our club. We stand on the verge of something we have all dreamed about and craved for so long.
