21 years ago mate. Frightening, so with the aid of a quick wiki {pretty comprehensive discography on there} and my fuzzy memory...
I moved back to S-o-T in 1995 and started a Radio show {only a laugh on Keele student radio, but it had a good range and mates around Stoke tuned in and phoned in etc.} so was/am always on the hunt for interesting stuff. I never really pursued my earlier Rave outings and never really got into House but the experimental Herbert beats and the nascent Drum & Bass sound and later Big Beat tweaked me eariels. Always more interested in the chill out/back room I had longstanding friends in several record shops from Brum to Sheffield and got tipped the wink about interesting sounds. Got all the mid nineties Warp, Reflex and stuff on promo cd or white labels. Rich pickings from a small shop in Congleton and the Warp shop in Sheffield. Always more interested Aphex Twin, Luke Vibert etc than straight up House.
It was through this route that I picked up all the Wishmountain, Dr. Rockitt promos on Phono. I've got some Classic white label things, but it's a long time since I dug into them so I can't put a name to them at the moment {though you may have inspired me to have another dig.} I digress.
That 'Moving' track sounds more 'dancefloored up' than I recall any of his stuff of that time. Chronologically it seems 'Classic Herbert' came out at the same time as '100lbs', the album containing 'oooh licky' etc. I was listening to pre release stuff, there were re-issues, retrospectives, re presses etc, so no wonder it's all a bit vague. He was doing Wishmountain/Dr. Rockitt, and Herbert simultaneously and several remix projects too. I wonder if there were USA versions of the releases too?
Looking at wiki it mentions an REM remix too... can't say I've ever heard that... let's see, I'll hoist it.
That's my recollection of stuff, danceflawed.

I am fascinated by your musical past I want to learn more. I also want to meet you and all sorts and get you you connected musically again. Online, at your leisure... Derrick Carter had a lot to do with Herbert's releases that made it to dancefloors and DJ's crates. Especially Goin Round and DAncin. The latter Derrick released on his label, the track I played. I remember asking Derrick Carter to play Goin Round in a club in 97 twanked on E and he smiled and said thats my friends record---its too slow for now! This was 1998 in Hamilton Ontario Canada at FEVER

Such an interesting man That REM remix is bizarre I don't want to bug you to dig but what white label Classic records do you have? We can figure them out from the catalog numbers. I think Luke Solomon and Derrick Carter started the releases at 100 and worked backwards

I will have a dig, but I think I've got a promo of a Classic compilation, was it called 'Seasons'... might just have one of the discs... mmm... Guessing a bit... long long time ago.

1987 Hacienda visits got me musically hooked in the early days before it all kicked off with acid t-shirts and gurning, sweaty, pawing, glowstick goons. Then Introspetive, Shelley's, Entropy, Bar X, Room 101, Freetown, Golden - kind of a long rambling meandering journey. Different clubs, different people, different dynamics. Loved up, disco biscuits, and mellowed out hooligans from ST and CW postcodes. Nods and winks, big hellos. Hugs and handshakes. Warm embraces. Many laughs. Left the crumbling terraces overflowing with piss and anger in the early 90's to indulge in a variety of musical excursions, mellowed out then returned after a few years to mix and match the vibe. Came back to find it was different but still familiar. More coke, less booze. Fewer participants but more violent. Very dark and edgy. Ultraviolent. Lots of paranoia. Downsides of powders and potions. Heads were properly messed up. They drifted back and it got more and more extreme. Deep dark days. Sonically all my sounds were more mellow, ambient, come down vibes. 1987 onwards the excursions were more Orb, KLF "Chill Out", Irresistible Force, Biosphere, Neural Network, Optic Eye, Banco de Gaia, Bark Psychosis, Aphex, Bowery Electric, Woob on a label called t:me/em:t from Nottingham, sort of stuff. The huge kick on of downbeat electronica that happened from 1990 onwards. All the Warp and mellow industrial techno, chill out soundtracks, experimental sounds that came out of the chill out room culture, the harsh paranoid nightmare comedowns, post anxiety build up to the weekends, after hours eclectic house parties, tripped out somnambulistic Ibiza wavelength. Still clubbed it up to proggy sounds but far less frequently - the clubs were getting intense and the original sense of loved up, openness, freedom, and mellowness had gone. All edgy, cash money, as the watch your back sort of attitude kicked in. Translated to a more introverted, mellow, isolated musical listening experience. In my own home, in my own headspace. Which in turn aligned with some social exclusion and a few life changing events, meant for a quieter more solitary life. Exiled since 1999. Physical connections severed. Loose and vague football connections was the only constant. Connections sometimes dropped. Communications ceased. Commonality and familiarity is only found in a select few people. Those who went through similar social and musical journeys from 87 onwards will understand. Others won't. Can't. Never will. Complex social and cultural journeys.

True story bro. My House credentials are basically zilch, pretty much out of me depth on this thread; One of the reasons I bugged DJDJ to type some context to his posts. Knowledge is power. I'm a novice about the House.
