***DISCLAIMER: PLEASE USE FIREFOX OR CHROME AS YOUR BROWSER AND INSTALL "ADBLOCK" - IT WILL REMOVE THE ADS FROM YOUTUBE VIDEOS***Not sure peoples tastes on here but I collect and DJ a lot of house and old disco and 80's groove stuff. I love to share music as it's a passion of mine, so I thought I would create a mini forum to showcase the music I like and hopefully others who like this stuff will contribute as well! I am going to try and contribute music and vids to the thread on a consistent basis, maybe I can turn some heads onto some newer (and older!)undergorund records they might not have heard of before. Peace! Gotta start in NYC!

Good thread. Listened to the first track you posted, it reminded me of Q-Burns Abstract Message and the stuff on the Mephisto Label I used to listen to in the late Nineties. Some brilliant elastic bass Deep House tunes. I searched around on the web and there was a Q-Burns Mix and the track you posted was the first up! Really liked the Super Discount label stuff around that time too. Funky laid back French House, with a sprinkling of Disco. Have a search for Paul Spencer's, the Friday Pharmacy thread on here {p4 I think}, you weren't tagged but it'd be rayt up your street I'm sure.

Seen him on his Super Discount 3 tour and the Beats n Cubes tour which is still some of the best visuals I've seen at a show.

Like a bit of Pepe Braddock and the Versatile label housed some nice stuff. Isolee and such. Like all that misty French stuff from the SourceLab. Take the records back... proper faux Disco. Up there with Stardust.

I think this was about the time when the dancefloor stopped being the place for a fight. Stone Age Deep House? Two dansettes? Lil' Louis, Grandmaster Flash, Blue Monday Donna Summer Kraftwerk on rotation for hours. Go on Stoke.

These were at the Sugarmill last year along with The Martinez Brothers, but I couldn't go due to a severe lack of funds at the time
