I have the feeling now, over the past few weeks, that Hughes is still trying to figure out which formation is best as well as which is his best team. We ultimately play a different formation every week, maybe not layout but the way we play the formation..
I can't work out whether it's a good thing because of our depth and quality, that it seems difficult to find our best team to fit, the right formation. The United and city games were fantastic, performance as well as team selection and formation. Fair enough it worked but then where are we going from there? What formation is best? Because the past few games seems to be our back four which is fairly compulsory to selection, then an inconsistent team selection and formation.
My best formation and team.... On paper.... Two wingers, a playmaker and a striker.

The issue is it depends who we are playing
Like today we are going to get completely outfought with that 11 against a pressing team like Leicester
Our issue is that our best 11 on,y works some of the time - there's (Leicester) is effective pretty much most of the time
