I'm no kind of plane spotter or any shit like that, so this could possibley be one of the daftest questions ever.
... But couldn't the RAF have made use of Concorde, I'm thinking along the lines of converting them to carry nukes?

Not really , the RAF haven't carried nuclear weapons since the middle to late 90's, the aircraft that the RAF had in service were far more capable of carrying out that role ( Tornado ) .
