How does he live with himself siting next to that French turd every week? Maybe the same as the fat gimp who works for the BBC. Stay loyal & proud

It's a sacrifice worth making. He's learning media and match official manipulation for when he fulfills his dream and takes over from Sparky.

We all have a cross to bear, and Bouldy's is having to associate himself with shit stains like Wanker & Wilshere. I'm sure he's picking up some useful skills along the way however, such as how to put up with & deal with Tossers.

I don't think Bould feels any attachment to Stoke anymore.... so the likelihood of him e.g. settling the Ramsey Shawcross thing... it ain't going to happen.

He's 53 so doesn't look like he'll ever get into management, he's surely earning a fortune as arsehole's husband.

I agree, unless anyone can say they personally know him and he's said only as recently as the last few weeks that Whinger is an odious twat and all things Arsenal are wank, we have to assume he has gone rogue. He could of course be being professional in holding his tongue as would be expected of an employee....no matter how big a wanker your boss is. Money of course will always talk as well. As much as I would love to believe he goes home each night and beats himself as a means of punishment for being part of Arsenal, I'm afraid he may well have turned to the dark side.......love to be proved wrong.

He may have been Stoke through and through once upon a time....but I feel his alliance now lies with the Arse, even if he didn't have any association with the club any more....Bit like Garth with Spuds!!!

Steve Bould has benn employed by Arsenal for over 25 years.
Born in Stoke? Yes. Stokie? I would think his allegiances are very much with Arsenal.

Footballers don't view the game the way supporters do. They separate their job from who they support, or they lose the concept of 'supporting' a club very early on.

Got a soft spot for Garth though after this answer he gave in an interview with Spurs' website. What do you remember about those early days at the old Victoria Ground? Garth: "The most valuable memory for me playing at the Victoria Ground was making my debut. The transition from being a Stoke supporter to becoming one of their players was just amazing. I spent the first few moments just staring at where I used to stand in the Boothen End. No-one can imagine what a thrill that was for me, not to mention the most extraordinary feeling. To pull on that red and white shirt and run onto the pitch as a first team player was electrifying. I’ve played for four other clubs since but none of them ever quite matched that feeling."

Very much a Stokie. Always will be.

Last I head was he was considering buying the Vale with Wenger when their time was up at Arsenal!
They believe it could be the Wembley of the North!

I don't think Bould feels any attachment to Stoke anymore.... so the likelihood of him e.g. settling the Ramsey Shawcross thing... it ain't going to happen. A couple of years ago he came over to block 31 and made a fuss of some old geezer. Don't know the story but it seemed genuine.

Jeezus H Christ! Who do we have a go at next? Nobody has ever heard a peep out of Bouldy about anything, and yet he's villified because he played for one of the best teams in his day and was a great advert for what lads from Stoke can do. He learned his trade at Stoke, had a great career at Arsenal, and now has a great job there. We may all hate Arsenal for whatever reason (and that includes me) but the one thing that has always impressed me is how Bouldy never gets involved with all the politics. He was Stoke born and bred and his family and many of his friends still live here, so he's doing the most sensible thing he can... saying nowt and getting on with his job that keeps him and his family well looked after.
Give it a fucking rest!
OS.

Ryan did the manful thing and tried to shake hands and apologise in person, but Ramsey wont have it. It suits his agenda to be perceived as the hard done to skillfull player, chopped down by the neanderthal clogger. And it suits Wenger for his players to be perceived in this want, and his club to be seen in this way. Steve works for a big club on big money and will be well respected by most/all players, but cant manipulate the media or change his companies policy

Remember when he'd already gone to Arsenal, if injured or just not playing, he'd always be on the wives and family balcony at the Vic. Would imagine, the way modern nogger is nowadays, he hasn't the time to show much interest in his home town team. Plus the fact, working in amongst the institutionalised hatred towards Stoke that exists at Arsenal, would it be wise of him to nail his colours to the Potters' mast?
