It really was horrific to see a fellow Stokie receiving CPR for that length of time, the game meant nothing to me after that. I pray the person pulls through. Come on Stokie It's messages like this that can make your day, good heart mate.

Looked like there were one or two people having a go at a steward who was there. I'm sure their intentions were good but it won't have helped the situation. I hope whoever the medical staff were attending to is ok.

The lady who sits next to me was the nurse that went up and performed CPR along with another fan. I really think the club should recognise these two fabulous ladies. Agree with this, glad to hear the guy pulled through and is in hospital.

It looked horrible
Me and my lad sit at the end of the row behind the chap and they were working on him extensively
The only positive i could see was there was some colour in his cheeks when they took him out of the ground
THE VERY VERY BEST OF LUCK TO YOU --- HOPE YOU ARE SOON WATCHING THE RIP ROARING POTTERS WITH US ALL

There were 2 different incidents, one in block 26 and a separate one outside block 1 near the club shop in the road it looked like a lady in her 70's. Is there any news on her?

The off duty nurse is named Liz Mellor.
I rousing "there's only one Liz Mellor" on Sunday would be appropriate.

I know there's never a good time to fall ill, and you're never lucky to do so, but surely there can't be a better place to be at if you are unfortunate to do so than a football stadium with so much expert help at hand?
Well done to all involved in helping the gentleman, and here's hoping he makes a swift and full recovery.

It was very disturbing to see it all happening at a football match. Makes you think & realize that there is much more important things in life than football. I don't know what I'd do if it was my dad who sits with me, that it happened to. I wish the person involved a full & speedy recovery.
