Incident as in it was a result of a scuffle? or is it something health related. Hope they're okay regardless

It really was horrific to see a fellow Stokie receiving CPR for that length of time, the game meant nothing to me after that.
I pray the person pulls through.
Come on Stokie

We were in the row in front of him two or three seats to the left. The paramedic and doctor did amazing as did the Nurse Stoke fan who came to help. The poor blokes wife was (obviously) in pieces.
He was sitting there and then his head just went back apperently. He looked gone when the docs got there. Guys behind us saying his wife was telling them he's been waiting for a heart bypass I overheard and he was stressing in the car on the way to the game about parking up because they were running late.
After working on him for a while and using the portable heart defrib machine they got a Pulse took him away.
Hope he pulls through.
Big up the nurse, doc and paramedic. All remained calm, I wouldn't have a club what to do. Puts everything into perspective. Game was nothing to me after seeing that Those portable heart defribullators are worth their weight in gold!!
Keep fighting old fella.

I sat and watched from block 25, puts the game into perspective and I couldn't concentrate on the game after that. Hope he pulls through, good luck old bean! I think the doctor that treated him was the Stoke club doctor, well done to all that helped! Somebody also collapsed at the bridge over the A50 too, what a night!

The lady who sits next to me was the nurse that went up and performed CPR along with another fan. I really think the club should recognise these two fabulous ladies.

Very close to where I sit, didn't seem right we were watching football whilst someone a few metres away could be dying, was told they got his heart beating again, good luck fella and massive praise for all who dealt with him. Then walking back to the car after the game up the path behind the holiday Inn someone had collapsed and was on the floor with people around him/her, how they would get medical staff to them quickly I don't know, hope everyone is OK. Puts a game of footy into perspective

There was someone one the floor outside on the zebra crossing by the club ship. Looked serious. Looked like had been knocked down, usually in case like that they take all precautions in case of spinal injuries but usually traffic is slow there Hope all were ok tonight!

Just read bout the bloke in the other stand hope pulls through.
Came out of our stand q raling to the zebra crossing St. John's ambulance flashing away. Attending to a person on the floor presume a fellow Stokie. Right next to a car. Hope one hasn't hit him/her. Maybe just had a fall. Plenty of trained people around them though. Hopefully a speedy recovery whoever it was.

I've heard he died twice at the ground. They had to bring him back twice! That is remarkable, well done to the women and paramedics. He is meant to be okay in his bed in hospital now thankfully!

Very good news if true. My father suffered a massive heart attack and lived a few years back. Still brings up the same feeling when I hear of others dealing with the same.

Absolutely terrible to stand there watching what is potentially somebody dying and being absolutely useless other than hoping that they pull through.
The StJohns looked like they did a great job and the stewards in the area too. He's a lucky chap that the off duty nurse was so close, after a day where the medical profession came under fire you forget just how valuable the people in the profession are. Well done to the nurse, you are a real life hero in my opinion.
Hope the chap pulls through.

He couldn't leave us just yet, he loves Stoke too much! Came back from 10 nil down TWICE! So pleased he has survived, wonderful news. Here's to a speedy and healthy recovery mate.
