Why not if Liverpool, sold Coutiniho who has identical stats then it would be over 30 million. Are we some sort of charity.

Would he go to Liverpool though? He's one of the big fish here and with us he'll have to do a lot to get dropped. Klopp is still trying to sort out his best team. Obviously money is a big motivator but he could command a bigger fee and bigger wages in the summer if he carries on.

As much as I love Bojan he's lit the league up for around 6-8 months in total in between adjusting, poor form and injuries. He'd need to do it for longer to justify those prices.

Let's be honest and realistic with ourselves to avoid disappointment / outrage if bids come in significantly lower than that - which I suspect they will (8-12m range)
His stats may be decent but his performances this season have been well below par. Teams do not simply use the money ball approach (with the exception of Brentford and fc Midtyland.
Secondly he has been very injury prone.
The question is could we replace him for 10m and the answer is most likely no - provided he is happy to stay.

Also I don't agree his performances have been well below par he has had several excellent games (ManU, Man City, Everton) and games where he has been marked out of the game (west Brom, Liverpool) can't see him going anywhere this January he has too much potential for us to sell cheaply and has failed at too many "top" clubs for anyone to through silly money at him.

Cannot see him going, he still seems a bit fragile to me mentally. I genuinely believe he is VERY happy here and I also believe his father and family are very happy he is here. He is finally settled!

His 'barren spell' and the fact that people will think of him as a 'big fish in a small pond' at stoke will always limit his value.
A full good season and I could see him going for 15ish million.

He won't be worth f*ck all if he keeps on putting in 'performances' like he did against Liverpool! Joking aside he won't go anywhere this season or probably next, he needs to play consistently well for a couple of seasons I think before he'll get a chance of a 'big' move.

Maybe I'm a bit thick but I don't see the point of selling him unless we have a plan to replace him. We'd have to pay the same or more to replace him. That said, we did a great job reinvesting the money from N'zonzi and Begovic.

We wouldn't get £25m for him. Why ?...Wolves have just got £10m for a player whose been no higher than mid championship

If he could produce a full season of top level performances like the ones we - and everyone else - know he can, then I'm pretty certain we would be looking at around £20+m for Bojan. If it is that he's the type of player who will struggle to achieve that standard then £10-15m is a realistic estimation. But we would need to shell out that much to replace the boy, so what's the point? If he's happy to remain here and he's settled & enjoying his football then I am happy for him to stay, as will everyone else be. Bojan is a gem, and we need to get the best out of him as often as possible, but that could mean resting him now and again in order to keep him fit & hungry.
