Only Monday and Tuesday between now and Wednesday so the arrival Norwich City in town with the former Labour shadow Chancellor Ed Balls as their new Chairman is imminent. On the face of it we should be looking to garner the full 3 points but they gave us a torrid time at Carrow Road back in the balmy days of August when there was only Jack Butland between us and a real toweling

One we need to take seriously. If we're to finish with another record points haul & league placing we have to be beating such teams. UTMP

We seem to make a real hard time of these so-called "easier" fixtures. Won't be easy this one. Jerome

Butland Johnson Shawcross Wollscheid Pieters Whelan Van Ginkel Afellay Bojan Arnautovic Joselu Agree with Joselu up front as it gives an out ball when needed but you can't drop Shaqiri Swop Afellay for VG and play Shaq on the right!

Yeah that's exactly the team I was going to suggest but you know I might still stick with Bojan playing as the false 9, with Joselu in the hole. I suspect that Hughes might have played him there yesterday so he could have a good look at him in that position.

Just second guessing Hughes as Shaqiri still carrying a knock I'm being told If Shaqiri isn't 100% would make sense to save him for the Arsenal game Cameron still injured? I agree Affelay for Van Ginkel but keep Walters in the starting 11. I'm sure he will enjoy a game against former rivals Norwich At the end of the day Hughes team yesterday came up with a result, despite a somewhat disjointed game I'm sure that he will have a good idea of his starting 11

You watch, we'll fudge this game and beat the scum gooners on Sunday. 4 points from the 2 games keeps our average at 2 PPG which is what we need to maintain, imho, to be in with a shout of Europe at the end of the season. Out of the two, I know which game I'd want us to win Hopefully we can pick up a full 6 points before some tricky away fixtures.

I don't like these sort of matches these days, we just don't turn up. as long as we don't lose. I know i'm being a bit negative, and I hope they prove me wrong.

Said all along this is a huge huge game for us after it we are either Pushing the top 10 or wert brom level just above the chasing pack .
Without doubt much bigger than the last 2 games , selection , set up form and attitude will be key .

One game in January isn't going to make or break our ambitions to finish in the top 10. Shall we just forget the other 17 games ?

Milky we aren't In the top 10 because we made a mess of the first 5 games of the fist half we can't do it second half if we are to finding top 10 and I'm less confident we will beat city , United and Chelsea this half so we need to start beating teams in the bottom half at home . P

P Yes I know all of this but the result of one game in January will not define our season. Win it and we aren't guaranteed top half.Lose and we aren't getting ready for championship football in August. What a strange world you live in.
